An authentic experience exploring the outback
A totally awesome down to earth experience. Our tour guide CJay was fun, engaging, insightful and really committed to creating memorable experiences for everyone on the tour. Each of the sites we visited and explored offered an amazing insight into the heart of Australia, it's first peoples and environment. It's clear that the Mulga tours team are a tight community of passionate guides that are committed to creating an authentic outdoor experience. I really enjoyed being a part of a community of travellers, making camp together, cooking, cleaning up, walking, talking, laughing and exploring together. Our Tour guide helped create community, which was a great way to explore the outback. Whether it was in the necessary activity of setting up or packing up camp or travel between sites, there was always opportunities to have a laugh and get to know fellow traveller we shared the journey with I would highly recommend Mulga Adventure Tours for those wanting an active fun sand engaging experience of the outback.

          Uluru 4 day rock-rock tour
I went on the 4 day rock to rock tour, and it was one of the best trips I have done so far! Central Australia is a beautiful place, Uluru is a place I have wanted to visit for some time, and even in the rain it did not disappoint. The other walks around Kata Tjuta and kings canyon had some breath taking views too. C-Jay was an amazing guide, so friendly, with so much knowledge of the culture and geography of the areas we saw - you can tell she really loves her job, which made the tour all the better! I have to say, my favourite part of the tour was at the bush camp, when we could look up and see the stars - it is definitely worth doing the 4 days just for this. The trip is definitely excellent value for money, with all the travel, and the food included. The only downside I would say, would be the amount of flies around - but as long as you take a flynet, you'll be all good ! If you want to see the highlights of central Australia, in a small tour group, with great tour guides I'd 100% recommend !

Amazing tour with incredible guide :)
Had the most amazing time on this tour! Sooo much better than those big buses - being with a smaller tour meant we always arrived at the sites and explored in much more depth, and the small group made it easy to ask questions and get to know the other people on the tour really well. Would 100% recommend for solo travellers - you meet lots of new people and there is never a dull moment! Our guide Alex was absolutely incredible, so knowledgeable on everything and made the experience super fun. You will not be disappointed!

          Rock to Rock Tour
An amazing tour. Our tour guide Alex was great and told us a lot about the area we are in. I travelled solo but I still had a great time because I got to know so many new people. The walks we did started early but that was good because then it wasn’t to hot and we got to see a sunrise in the Kings canyon. Food was amazing and in the evenings we spent a lot of time together as a tour group. I would definitely recommend it.

          Sunrise and sunset heaven
Absolutely loved this trip! Made all the better by our amazing tour guide CJay who did a fantastic job as a trainee tour guide - seemed so natural it was as if they'd been doing it for years. Shout out also to Simon who was helping on the tour! The early starts were definitely worth it for all the amazing sunrises, so happy to have learned about and been immersed in the local culture and see Uluru up close from all angles, definitely a bucket list item ticked off. Thanks again both!

Great value trip with plenty of inclusions. Our Guide Phil was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and made the trip fun and informative. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who is adventurous. Swag sleeping under that stars was a real outback adventure. We saw all the best sights and were always the first group there to get the best views. Thanks again Phil, top job mate.

          Amazing experience
Don’t miss heading out to the Northern Territory if you are in Aus! The 3N4D Uluru tour with Mulgas was incredible and so much fun! The food was great, I loved trying the damper (Aussie dessert). Sleeping under the stars, the different walks and watching the sunsets and sunrises from different viewpoints was amazing. Shout out to our guides CJ and Simon who made the experience so memorable.

          Incredible 4 day Rock-to-Rock Tour
Amazing Rock to Rock tour with Rachel and Genna! Definitely one of my favorite things I did in Australia, highly recommend :) The tour was well organised, the food was great, and Rachel was a very knowledgable tour guide. She was very well informed and loved to answer any questions we had! Even in the 40 degree heat we were able to do some hikes by waking up early in the morning and having plenty of water with us! I would definetely recommend this tour to any backpackers wanting to explore the Red Centre!

I couldn’t recommend this tour enough. My tour guide Jinxy was extremely knowledgeable of the different places we visited, and was very passionate about aboriginal culture which made it all the more interesting. Everything was very well organised, and as promised we were the first tour group at every location, giving us time to experience these beautiful places peacefully before the crowds came.

The evenings were great fun too, everyone helped to cook dinner whilst listening to music and sharing stories. The food was delicious, even though I am a veggie my meals were still just as good!

And camping under the outback stars is an experience I’ll never forget. You should definitely book this tour!

This trip was one of the most incredible experiences I've had to date! Our guide Nicole was absolutely fantastic. She shared her knowledge of Country with such passion and empathy. Nicole made sure we saw every sunrise and sunset, beating most of the other tours to those picturesque spots. Camping under the stars, bonding with the others on my tour (some of whom I still see today!) and generally being blown away. 100% recommend this tour with Mulgas!

This tour was expertly led by Janner. He did everything humanly possible to make our tour as successful, informative and comfortable as possible. (Swags are swags) What a total legend . He drove ,prepared, cooked, guided and supported our group constantly over the three days. He regularly provided us with updates/ timings through out the day and took a genuine interest in how people were doing. Tanner has a genuine love of tourism and interest in people. Regular rest breaks included surprise snacks ( fruit/ biscuits) that were fresh and welcome. The whole group felt very supported and safe at all times. Thank you mulga tours for such an experience

It's a must go!!! Can't ask for a better guide than ours, Ben. The tour is nicely organized so we got to see the sunrise and sunset of uluru and got the full experience of living in the outback. So impressed with the food! We had a variety of food every meal is different. We got to try camel burger and kangaroo steak. Ben adds his personal touch to our meals, made us bread and pancakes!! What more can you ask for!

Hi There, Thanks for your 5 star review!! Sounds like you had a wonderful experience with Ben! I've tried Ben's Damper (Bread) and i also agree it amazing! I think one of the best fire cooked dampers in Central Australia! We really try to offer a large variety of food to accommodate all dietary requirements on our tours! Its great to hear that you tried both the Camel and Kangaroo options to enhance your Australian Outback Experience! I will pass on your kind words to Ben! Cheers, Laura

What an amazing trip! So much was packed into the 3 days - well worth the early starts! We had beautiful sunrises and sunsets, beautiful stars, beautiful landscapes, and it was great fun camping in a swag for the first time. Our guide Liv was lovely and knowledgable - she taught us so much about the area culturally, geologically and ecologically, as well as making the whole thing fun and bringing us together as a group. I definitely recommend this tour!

Uluru was amazing. Watching the sunset and the sunrise was beautiful.
Hikings in Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon were a bit harder but totally worth the effort, the views are stunning.

We had a fantastic time on the three day tour. Our guide, Janner, was amazing! He made sure everything ran smoothly and was an excellent communicator. He had extensive knowledge of the area and made sure we were in the best place at the perfect time. We were with a really great group of 22 people and it was fun to get to know them all. It was so good not to have to drive those huge distances but have a very capable guide look after it all.
