- davidtS1241QB0 contributionsGreat DayWonderful day Aaron or (A Ron) was our guide and he was excellent We had a very informative day. Lots of time to do things unlike other tours we have been on this one was not rushed. Thank for a great day FJ Tours.Written 17 March 2024
- Daydream6039360 contributionsBlue Mts experienceThe views were fantastic! Took lots of pics. Our tour guide/driver, Huxley, was wonderful! He was very good at telling us meaningful facts and has a great sense of humor. So helpful too!Written 15 March 2024
- cathey7190 contributionsWonderful excursion. Well worth the money.Great day. Tour guide was great. Views were great. It was a highlight of our trip. Only negative was having to get our own way back to the hotel after the ferry ride. It was expected, but we would have paid more for the inconvenience.Written 15 March 2024
- jlw0lf0 contributionsNice Excursion in NSWWe enjoyed this trip and it was well worth the money. The Featherdale Animal Park was fun and interesting, especially the albino kangaroo. The views in Scenic World were amazing. Understand now why it is called Australia's Grand Canyon. There were a couple negatives. The driver was overly concerned with his time schedule and this was kind of stressful. Didn't allow enough time in Leura for lunch. There were so many other busses and tourists that lunch was rushed and there was no time to see anything else in the town.Written 15 March 2024
- JC75300 contributionsA-a-ron! Top man and top tour guideDriver and Tour guide Aaron was great, was very knowledgable and gave us insights to each place we visited. Any questions were answered and always had a joke to lighten the mood!Written 13 March 2024

- meganb7630 contributionsBlue mountains...stunning!This trip is definitely worth it. The driver Tony was extremely informative (retired school teacher) and made it fun for us. For starters he picked us up at our hotel...bonus!! Kept us alerted to times and things to do at our stops. The blue mountains were reminiscent of the Grand Canyon, granted on a much smaller scale. There were many different activities on this tour....Nice town to stop in for lunch and a quick bit of shopping. Small native , animal park...probably the best kept park I may have ever visited, the blue mountains themselves as well as a boat ferry ride back to Circular Quay! Don't miss out on this tour!Written 12 March 2024
- Cyndy P0 contributionsLoving the Blue Mountains!Tony was fantastic, so very punctual, informative, friendly, funny, a great storyteller! He made our full day pass by quickly! We thoroughly enjoyed our whole day with Tony!Written 9 March 2024
- M B0 contributionsPerfect time, Value for $, experience a lot!Our tour guide, Scott, was informative and entertaining. Group size was perfect (26) and each stop allowed for us to experience each leg of the journey without feeling we missed out.Written 8 March 2024
- Daydream070428799840 contributionsBlue Mountains - A day to rememberThe tour was far more than just a visit to the Blue Mountain. The day was extremely well planned with a visit to zoo, lunch/shopping, scenic rides and a boat trip back to Sydney making it a day to remember. A special thanks to Jed the driver/tour guide whose witty and informative chat added to the occasion.Written 8 March 2024
- Mike W0 contributionsGreat trip, highly recommendWe really enjoyed this tour. We had ample time at each stop, never felt rushed and also never felt like we never had to kill time. Featherwood had a lot of animals native to Australia, it was cool seeing them up close. Prior to the trip we thought Scenic World might be a little cheesy or theme-park like, but it might have been our favorite stop. Very informative about the mining history in the area, the views were spectacular, and the rides were terrific. Our guide Tony was a great storyteller and shared a lot of great information.Written 7 March 2024
- S9422CRdannyb0 contributionsAwesomeWhat a wonderful tour. Thank you Ben The visit to the animal sanctuary was amazing. Can't believe how close we got to the indigenous animals, feeding them by hand and stroking them. Blue Mountains was unbelievable, in my opinion better than the Grand Canyon and less crowded. Being dropped off to get the ferry back was a great idea and a lovely end to the tour. A bit of confusion over the ferry schedule which should be easily sorted. The only complaint was the Olympic Park. If you're on the wrong side of the bus you don't see anything. So either plan for a proper stop and short walk about, or just don't go there. I'd have preferred extra time at the MountainsWritten 7 March 2024
- HOtravels0 contributionsA+ day in the Blue MountainsWe loved this day trip to the Blue Mountains. Jed was a fabulous tour guide making the day lots of fun with lots of laughs.. Best team ever! The wildlife park was fantastic and Wow!!! Echo Point & the Three sisters rock formation was an amazing sight. Scenic world train ride gave us a thrill and the ferry ride back down the Parramatta River, under the harbour bridge to Circular Quay topped off the day!Written 7 March 2024
- Louis M0 contributionsWe highly recommend this trip for anyone visiting Sydney. We enjoyed the trip to the Blue Mountains. The driver was personable and did a good job with keeping everyone informed and on schedule. His commentaries about the history and highlights of the area were very good as well. He made it a fun trip, well worth doing.Written 6 March 2024
- Dream6707000 contributionsBlue Mountains (Scenic World) and Wildlife Rescue CenterThe trip was phenomenal! Our tour guide ( Aaron) was very friendly, funny, and accommodating. Long day of driving but the driver was very informative. Wonderful stop at the Wildlife Park along the way, and lunch at a great cafe. We enjoyed all of the stops especially at the cable car, where we had a chance to walk through the forest along the boardwalk. Views of the 3 Sisters and the waterfall were wonderful too. The final ferry ride back to the city was very good and a chance to see a different view of Sydney Harbor. This is a great way to get out of the city a bit, if you don't have a car. I would recommend!

This is a phenomenal trip that I would definitely recommend to anyone in NSW or heading there. Picked up from various locations, friendly and informative guide (Tony), it is a bit of a long drive so this is the perfect tour as it breaks the day up, get entry to the Featherdale wildlife park, then time in the little town of Leura (the once a year market happened to fall on the day I went so was amazing) where you can have lunch and wander the shops before heading to the famous 3 sisters, time to take some photos before heading to scenic world where you have the opportunity to enjoy the three rides before heading to the port to board the ferry back to Sydney, this was fantastic as we got to see the sunset on the boat and the iconic Sydney landmarks like the Opera house and bridge, this was another fantastic photo opportunity. All in all a fantastic day and a superb way to begin my travels in Australia. Huge thank you to the tour guide Tony (my apologies if I've got his name wrong). Would book again with this company next time I'm down under.

This full day of the Blue Mountains was great. The first site was the Featherdale Wildlife, which was an amazing reserve. Their was some confusion of meeting at 10 am vs 10:15 am to depart. Arriving at 10:06, the bus was gone! Thankfully, another bus from FJ Tours was able to drive us to the next stop reconnecting us with our tour bus. Shout out to Jed! Thank you, Jed for saving us! (Our tour operator apparently miscounted and forgot us).
Now after that - we went to Echo Point, Scenic World and a Ferry Boar ride back to Circular Quay. All of those sites were great, except I thought the Ferry Boat was not as organized as I would have liked. We had to wait for an hour for the ferry. This was attributable to it being a “busy” time, but that isn’t something we would know.
Once we got on the ferry, it was amazing ride. Great experience overall!

Thank you for your review.
We apologize for leaving you behind at Featherdale. Jed was only too happy to help you carry on (he enjoyed the chocolate).
The river cruise is normally organised a lot better on those busier days. I am sorry that you waited so long.
Happy travels

What a great day! Picked up in the morning and on the way to the Blue Mountains saw some of Sydney's sights. Then stopped of at Featherdale Wildlife park for some close encounters with their wildlife and then on to the Blue Mountains. On the way back we were dropped at the Olympic Park for a River Cruise back to Circular Quay, Sydney. What a day! The Blue Mountains are amazing with the Worlds steepest railway going down and the Cableway coming back up. A great day out with a very helpful and informative guide.

Aaron was our guide and made the tour interesting with history of the area. Day was relaxed and we had time to enjoy each activity! The only thing for me was the lunch offering but my boyfriend did enjoy it(I am a fussy eater). As lunch was ready for us, it gave us time to enjoy the town but there are lots of eatery’s so for those that don’t book the lunch, there is plenty to choose from. I would highly recommend this tour! Amazing

What a fun day. We started in Sydney and went to Featherdale Wildlife Park. That could be an excellent review by itself. After a great time at Featherdale, we proceeded to Leura in the Blue Mountains. We had lunch there and then had time to explore the shops. I bought some amazing jewelry for my wife. We then went to Scenic World....simply amazing. An old mining camp with a steep tram that decends into the valley. We left Scenic World, visited the three Sisters and a waterfall. Our guide was excellent. The Bus clean and comfortable. A simply amazing tour. Highly recommend.

I think you could look at descriptions of each to see. We did do the one with lunch, which was pretty good. Lunch was in a cute area with shops, you won’t have long to shop at all, at least we didn’t.
