Blue Mountains Day Trip from Sydney Including Aussie BBQ Lunch

Overview

Get out of the city and tour one of Australia’s most famous natural wonders, the Blue Mountains. Explore nature and visit sites like the Three Sisters rock formation overlooking the Jamison Valley and Wentworth Falls. Enjoy a day filled with beautiful views, walks through the bush, a swim stop, and a traditional Australian BBQ with young travelers between 18 and 35 years old.

What to Expect

Meet your guide and small group of no more than 20 travelers at a central Sydney location to head out on your Blue Mountains tour.

Once arriving at Blue Mountains National Park, keep a lookout for wild kangaroos as you climb the mountain towards Wentworth Falls. Follow your guide through the bush and listen to informative commentary about the area, with the opportunity to stop for a swim.

Head to the Echo Point outlook and get a great view of the famous Three Sisters rock formation and Jamison Valley. Snap some photos with your new friends before digging into a traditional Aussie BBQ lunch that even includes a kangaroo steak— with a vegetarian option as well.

Head to a swimming hole after lunch to wade around or relax in the sun before heading back to the Sydney.

I’m 38 and was bordering the cutoff. The tour guides are amazing, but this is definitely geared towards a younger crowd and keeps a fast pace. If you can keep up, you will be fine, but the vibe is very Millennial.
