About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- tiajulia610 contributionsHarbour cruiseNote there is assigned seating. Take an earlier cruise of the harbor, if you want to see anything but lights. Got dark really early, no narrations done.Alcoholic beverages were nasty stick to beer, soda. Live entertainment was a joke.Written 16 March 2024
- 720JohnH7200 contributionsBest dinner cruise we’ve ever experienced!A beautiful experience! Great food and wines, a perfect scenic cruise with the city lights, and exceptionally good service!Written 16 March 2024
- CanceledinJuly0 contributionsFunA bit confusing as to where to get your tickets- but fine after that. Going to the zoo was fun and the ferry ride was fast and smooth. The zoo is well worth visiting.Written 16 March 2024
- stazzag0 contributionsGreat views, average food, not a full three hour drinks packageWe had a lovely weather and a fantastic view of Sydney’s coastline. We had booked a window table, so the views were amazing and you could also go outside. The website says they will politely decline catering for allergies/intolerances, but they did a great job with a GF menu for me, which was a pleasant surprise. I had looked and thought I just would pass on canapés and give my pasta to someone else, but that was unnecessary. We found the food came fast and furious with the paired wines… we would have liked a but more of a break between courses. We had wine left from one course and the next wine was being poured. I guess we couldn’t understand the rush when we were 5here for three hours. Wine served with each course was very generous. Food was okay,, steak was the standout for all four… order it less cooked than you want as tended to be overdone. The other courses were okay but not worth mentioning,,, lol but I did like them scallops🤣🤣🤣…Inclusive of wines/drinks package totally great value, but they did stop service at about 9:30 before we docked.Written 16 March 2024
- VintinerFamily0 contributionsZOO!!!!!Awesome ferry ride over and absolutely fantastic zoo. Was amazing being out in the harbour being so busy. Would definitely go again.Written 15 March 2024
- 636collinp0 contributionsDo not do this one!I am 50, my father 75, and yes, we are yank Americans. I start with that to say, "No, we are not 'entitled'." We each have worked hard for what we have. So here is my review: I was quite put off by the way things transpired. It start with my talking to the sales girl the day before (buying the tickets). It was made clear that my father and I are into photography and would like a 'window' seat. That was guaranteed when purchasing this (3 hr) lunch cruise. The sales girl then asked if one of us was celebrating a birthday, in which this is the week my father is turning 75. Nicely, she gave us a discount. That is definitely appreciated. However, somewhere in that, we lost our window seats. Stepping on board they have a designated table they seat you at. Not being a window table I went back to the seaters to ask. I was told that was an extra $30 per person upgrade. ????? Okay? So what happened to the 'guaranteed window seats' we had? Well, fine, we will go with what we have. So we sit and they give us one (1) glass of nasty tap water each. I press on this one glass as you will read shortly. So now, there is a QR code for drinks and menu. Hmmmmm? Well, we are from outside Australia and do not have cellular coverage or internet on our phones. Asking for menus, the (appearant to be) waitress of ours visibly gets put off herself at our saying we cannot use the QR code and need menus. She comes back with menus and my father starts to ask, " what drinks are include...," to which she immediately turns her back, walks away, and turned our table over to another person to serve us. The next person, to take over, was good. He was in a whote shirt (uniform), not a wait staff uniform. Once again, we asked about what drinks were included. He was not sure so he went to check. NOTHING! PERIOD! ... Not even coffee. That afore mentioned one glass of tap water was it! ... For a three hour harbor cruise. NO drinks are included. I had one (with alcohol) and my father had one (with alcohol). That was another $30 somthing. Sodas were around $5 each. The whole window thing I will attribute to getting lost somewhere in the transaction. The lack of supplied (at least one) drinks is pathetic. The, to be, waitresses actions are inexcusable.Written 13 March 2024
- monty5290 contributionsFantastic cruiseExcellent experience, our overseas visitors loved the harbour cruise,a fabulous way to see our beautiful harbour and the food and cocktails were great, the service was exceptional Highly recommendWritten 11 March 2024
- jjjfolley0 contributionsGreat value harbour cruise. My wife and I went on a beautiful Sunday afternoon cruise. We took a 2 hour cruise embarking at the Captain Cook Wharf, Darling Harbour/Barrangaroo and disembarking at Circular Quay. We paid only $55 per head with the Premium upgrade. Great value (I don’t recall why we got the $10 p.h. discount.) Th cheese and charcuterie plate was tasty and plentiful (we could not finish). It consisted of salami, prosciutto, 3 types of cheese, olives, assorted dried fruits, assorted nuts bowl, crackers, toasted bread rounds and plump fresh strawberries. The plate was enjoyed with a glass each of icy cold beer and bubbly, respectively, with easy-listening live guitar music and vocalist. Our $10 per head discount was spent on some cloudy apple ciders during the second hour of our cruise. A couple of tips for the budget conscious: For a light brunch/lunch before embarking, I don’t think that you will find anything more economical than UME, a Japanese style hamburger joint. We shared Japanese style fried chicken (boneless) and chips for $20 all-up. If disembarking at Circular Quay there is a tiny bottle shop where can grab a couple of bottles to take back to your accommodation. Prices start at $5 per bottle for drink-in-park plonk up to some good quality wines.Written 10 March 2024
- janetE4077PF0 contributionsGreat aftrnoon on the harbourLovely way to spend 3 hours on the harbour. Food and service was great. Our only slight disappointment was that we didn't venture further around the harbour in that time.Written 4 March 2024

- aldavril0 contributionsAlways a pleasure!Every year we do this beautiful long lunch cruise. It’s something we always look forward to. From the moment we arrive we are greeted by the friendly crew. Well worth paying a few more dollars for window seating. It’s just the most beautiful relaxing experience with fabulous food and service. No better way to experience Sydney Harbour. So perfect for visitors but we also enjoy it every year. Well done to all. Just a minor thought maybe review menu seems to have been the same mains for quite a number of years now. Still A beautiful experience.Written 2 March 2024
- katharinem5560 contributionsLovely well priced day tour from Sydney Central Quay for great views.Took a day trip with this line. The wifi commentary does not work so don't bother with this. We went up to Manly and spent most time there. Also got off at Watson's Cove. If I was doing it again I would spend more time at Watson's cove. There is a great fish restaurant there, Doyle's. They also have a tearoom next to the library on the bay. The ferry is always very punctual and quick to leave the dock so give enough time to get to the boat.Written 29 February 2024
- Gregg P0 contributionsStay away from this tour!!This is a total scam. My wife and I traveled 8000 miles to get here. We wanted to see sunset as well as Sydney harbor all lit up at night. WE SAW NEITHER! The boat was back at the dock about an hour and a half before sunset! Their reply was that they don’t adjust for daylight savings time!! No refunds either.Written 25 February 2024
- 207skya0 contributionsLoved itStunning views, staff were all super friendly + helpful, well worth the price. Ferry was super fast too, no dilly-dallying. 10/10Written 24 February 2024
- hanna001_110 contributionsSydney Harbour CruiseWent on 3 hr Long Lunch cruise. Disappointed with the route taken. We went into Darling Harbour 3 times & Circular Quay twice which meant we only cruised into harbour just past Clark Island then turned around. No commentary given. The staff, meals & service were all good. Would choose another company to cruise further into harbour next time. If using a Gift Voucher check the expiry times as they can be misleading.Written 23 February 2024

We were told different time guidelines by various agents and lost out on part of our Harbor cruise. Staff wasn’t friendly and nothing is in writing so you cannot dispute anything they say. Each agent has a different idea as to how the rules apply and the specific time guidelines.
The bus stops are not identified by the number on their maps and the audio system doesn’t tell you what number the stop is. You’ll let to your own knowledge. Very difficult to figure out where you are on the route.
One tip...don’t spent a bunch of money by the so called package deals. It’s impossible to use all fo the services on both the boat and the bus.

We love sitting on the top deck.....leaving the driving, the traffic and the crowds to someone else...
The commentaries were Interesting and informative...and the intervals of music were nice....we now have
“I Still call Australia Home”..on our playlist at home...(by peter Allen)...one little disappointment was trying to find an honest pub near the train station stop....it was in an old hotel...and matched up....but the pub wasn’t much at all...
We were happy to catch the bus to Bondi beach tho...that was a good experience...overall this is a fine way to see much that would be otherwise missed...

We only just discovered the hop-on busses as a good, quick way to get an overview of a city, and this one did the job in Sydney. It isn't a good way to get around town (take a taxi, Uber or a city bus) but it is great way to see places you may want to go back to later. The sound system was our greatest fear, but it turned out okay (not great, but bearable.) If you're taking photos en route, be ready -- the only pauses we got along the way were at traffic signals. We would definitely do this again...probably because we lucked out and had terrific weather.

It is too slow. Staffs aren’t friends. The sound is impossible to listen clearly. The bus stops aren’t numbered and hard to find out where to hop off.

The cruise around the harbour was informative, punctual and pleasant - good way to decide where to revisit . Unfortunately the bus was slow - starts at certain times, very crowded, slow, the sound is very poor but we did hop off at the spots we were interested in and got a return bus. ,it was ok. We used public transport the following day using the opal card and it was a good way to get around this beautiful city.

We really got to see all of the city sites as well as the vast harbor areas of Sydney with this combo tour. Two days for the bus rides & 2 days for the harbor cruise. It was an excellent value.

The harbor cruises were great. They ran on time. There were multiple seating options. The crews were very friendly. The Big Bus was not good at all. The crews were friendly. The company procedures are not customer friendly. We got on the bus and 4 stops later the bus stopped for 30 minutes. Every time we were at a stop that also served the Blue line, we were on the Red, the bus stopped for 10 minutes or so. The round trip was well over 2.5 hours. There are relatively few seats on the lower deck. The upper deck has no roof of any kind at any point. You are setting at these stops in the hot sun. If it rains, you get wet. We have done hop on hop off all over the world. We had the same issues in Hongkong with the same company. The rest of our trips were with other bus lines and had none of these issues.

Yes, you will need to take the Hop on Hop off cruise first then the Hop on Hop off bus. Start your day between 9:00am - 10:00am on the cruise and go all the way to Manly Beach, then get back on the next boat back to Circular Quay. Hop on Hop off bus starts at Circular Quay M-F 8:40am - 6:25pm and Sat -Sun 9:35-4:55pm. Please get a map and Hop on off info Bus/Cruise from your hotel. You can also do an Express climb on the bridge after your Hop on Hop off tour if you are not afraid of heights - Great Experience that lasted 2 1/2 hours.
My Hop on Hop off was to Bondi Beach - Great sceneries. I wear my bathing suit under my summer dress and borrowed a towel from the hotel room - had to get into the water and dig my toes into the beautiful sand. Then I did the 3 1/2 hours climb on the Sydney Bridge which ended at 10:00pm - AWESOME night view of the city. Have fun!
if im staying in-near darling harbour , were would I catch the big bus tour bus please.
