- L6721NEchrisk0 contributionsRin is the best guide we have ever hadWe had our best day in Sidney with Rin. She is so knowledgeable about Sydney and has a superb attitude and love for her town. She showed us things in the "Rocks" we never would have found on our own. My bucket list item for Sydney was Bondi Beach and she was knowledgeable there also. If you can hook up an excursion with Rin you should do it.Written 13 November 2024

The 1 day tour of the Blue Mountains (incl Scenic World and Featherdale) was wonderful. I am not a fan of doing tours because I feel like everyone moves so slowly and you spend more time waiting for the rest of your group than seeing actual sites. Our guide Tash was AMAZING and kept our group moving along so we could make the most of the day. She was flexible and planned our itinerary based on the weather and our group’s interest. She was funny and informative (she admitted she didn’t know the answer to a few of our questions but made a point to find out).
For families with kids (ours was 6), this is the perfect way to get a taste of the Blue Mountains, Scenic World and Featherdale Park. It may seem expensive but when you look at the time it would take to take a train or drive yourself and figure out where everything is, it is well worth the cost. Add on the experienced tour guide and small group size, it’s definitely worth it.
P.S. we also appreciated Tash offering to take our picture. She has a great eye!

We selected this tour for it's itinerary, all inclusive rides and lunch and small group size. The van was very comfortable and the guide was really great. Robert Mason was very knowledgeable and entertaining! The timing of the tour was perfect.
It was a cloudy day and a bit rainy but even though we didn't get to see the 3 sisters, the mist really added it's own beauty. Robert took us over to the next valley and we were able to see incredible views of the canyon, and then watch the mist roll in. It was awe inspiring. We walked through a rain forest, saw waterfalls, and
The tour included 3 different fun rides (including an extremely steep railway, and entrance to a wildlife park where we hand fed the wallaby's. We even got to try throwing a boomerang!
The lunch was really yummy, between the 4 of us we sampled 3 of the different choices and all were very good. The pièce de résistance was when Robert, a former Disney animation artist, autographed a sketch of mickey mouse for our granddaughter. We ended the day with a ferry ride back to Sydney. It was a perfect day that we all enjoyed.
This was a great tour for a wide rang of ages. There were no kids on the tour but the ages ranged from 20 somethings all the way to our 82 year old mother, and all had a great time. We looked at a few cheaper tours but decided you get what you pay for, and we certainly got our money's worth with this tour!

Blue Mountains - Day Trip with a fantastic tour guide - Bob
What a lovely day we had in a small group with a great tour guide Bob. Travelling across Australia with my friend we decided to visit Blue Mountains being for a few days in Sydney. The bush fires alerts were getting worse at the beginning of December 2019. We were kindly inform by tour operator via email/call that the trip plan has to be changed and then we were asked if we are still interested to take the trip. Even though we couldn't see a few attraction caused by the bush fire (pictures attached) , we had a lovely time and we were safe. Bob is an excellent driver and story teller, his knowledge about the history of Australia is impressive.
We also had a fantastic and delicious lunch together. As a group of tourists from different places all over the world we shared so many topics and experience. We all had a fantastic time.
In addition, the tour operator Anderson's Tours made a refund for changing tour plan.
I strongly recommend to book All Inclusive Blue Mountains Small-Group Day Trip from Sydney to all of you visiting Sydney.
Enjoy Australia!

I am not sure where to start because the tour is great but I had a terrible experience because of my driver so I’m torn.
The actual tour is great, worth the cost. We had perfect weather that only made it better.
The company seems very reputable and they were easy to contact regarding pick up location.
The driver we had Kat was rude, didn’t help accommodate me and my daughter to sit near each other on the bus when we were the last ones on and talked none stop without so much as a breath for an hour and forty minutes from 7:30 am until our first pit stop. She invited a gang up on me and my daughter group mentality on the bus where other passengers vocally abused us and cheered when we got off.
The second driver Mark (we were allowed to switch buses at the first stop) was an absolute delight. He provided information and shared knowledge of the area we travelled. He was professional and made an effort to acknowledge everyone on the bus throughout the day.
The management team offered me a free koala experience (valued at $25) for my humiliation and advised they would talk to Kat about her behaviour. I didn’t ask for anything and thought this was decent yet honestly not enough for the fact that their driver was mainly the problem.

Booked this quite late as wasn’t sure if the bush fires would impact the tour but we needn’t have worried. Apart from a bit of haze left over from the smoke in the air, we still enjoyed some spectacular views at each look out! Was such a great day from start to finish. Our guide Robert was very knowledgable and really made the day for us. The timing for everything was spot on, we had plenty of time at each stop and our pre-selected lunch was ready as soon as we arrived at the restaurant! Compared to all the individual costs of the entrance fees plus the ferry trip at the end this tour was also great value and would definitely recommend it if you’re limited for time. Only downside was we didn’t get to hear our guide Robert play his ukulele!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our all inclusive tour to the Blue Mountains. Our tour guide Mark was very friendly, funny and knowledgeable providing our small group with lots of facts and information. Pick up at a local Hotel was punctual and the time schedule for the day ran to time. The inclusive lunch in Katoomba was excellent with great meal choices and our trip to the Featherdale Wildlife Park was amazing. Overall I would highly recommend this tour as it's excellent value for money, you get to see lots of different places and the whole tour is very well organised. Big thumbs up 👍

Our tour to the Blue Mountains was great- and a big part of that was because of our tour guide Steve. He was educated on the history of the Blue Mountains, from the town, to the mining history. He was well organized and kept our group on a good schedule. It was more relaxing having him drive as well since in Australia they drive on the other side of the car (and road). It was smoky during our visit because of all the brushfires, and our views of the Blue Mountains (looking out over them) was hindered somewhat by this, but I would still recommend this tour to folks looking to visit Australia because of the information you can gather while being with a tour guide. I also loved that we got to take so many different kinds of transport! The Mining-Train is a real thrill! I think my favorite part was the FeatherDale Wildlife Park though, our guide knew to take us to the park (during feeding hours) so that we could see the animals awake and engaged in their natural behaviors- which really made for a much better experience than your standard trip to a zoo. Would absolutely recommend.

We went on this trip with our excellent tour guide, Steve. Had a great day with lots of activities & sights. The day ended well with a boat trip from Olympic Park to Darling Harbour. Steve was extremely informative , humorous and very attentive to all of us. It was lovely to mix with people from all around the world, great value for the price and we highly recommended this tour. Scenic World was standout!

Our daylong tour was one of the best we’ve experienced, in no small part due to our guide, Kat. She provided informed, amusing, nuanced, detailed commentary about an incredibly wide range of All Things Australia subjects. The tour itinerary was first rate, supplying diverse, fun, enjoyable, thoughtful experiences in a variety of settings and modes. Even lunch was good. This tour is an absolute must when visiting Sydney.

Full day of fun! Easy paced. Well organized. Breakfast is on you, but lunch is included. Good variety to choose from. You pre-select from a menu and it is ready for u when you reach. Mark, our guide was great! Professional, yet friendly, had lots to share, showed flexibility within the itinerary to be responsive to customer needs......He offered cold water after crossing the forest, when it was most needed! Very thoughtful and nice gesture! The scenic world was great! Tickets are included. You get to experience Rain Forest of the Blue Mountains - walk to look out points, travel by Cable seeing tree tops and across the forest, by rail on world's highest incline! Featherdale was great too! Feed Kangaroo, hold Koala and get a photo taken, See Penguins, Reptiles, Only one thing to worry about....hope you do not get a seat on top of rear wheels......Luckily, our tour was not full, so the person sitting in that seat could change the seat. You get seated based on your pick up location. Hope they always have a spare seat! We had a little mix up regarding which of the 2 vans will be picking us up, but, other than that, we had a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend.

Hello, does this tour go to the Wentworth Falls Lookout Track?
Written 10 December 2024
Are you able to get close to the Koala bears to take a picture with them - would you be able to hold one?
Written 11 November 2024
Holding them is illegal now. However, there is an option (for an small additional charge) to pet one, stand next to it, with your hand on it's back, for a picture. They will take it with your phone/camera.
Written 11 November 2024
Hi, is there any point in the tour in the Blue Mountains that we will have free time to hike on our own? Or are we with the group and guide the entire time? We are somewhat active and we are making a decision to pursue on our own OR use this highly rated tour...
Written 19 November 2023
You’re with the tour and guide the entire time. You don’t leave the tour.

At the end of the trip where do we get dropped off at?
Written 23 April 2023
We got off at the Barangaroo Ferry Terminal since it was close to our Hotel. Its best to speak to the tour operator prior to booking if you have a specific request

Is there a spot visited that one can see hieroglyphs?
Written 12 February 2023
We didn't see any hieroglyphs on our day tour. Most of the scenery was scenic vistas with some rain forest in the Scenic World portion.
Written 13 February 2023
Is skip the line included for the rides at Scenic World in this tour?
Also can anyone advise on what meal options there are for the lunch menu?
Thank you
Written 18 January 2023
At the beginning of the tour we were given a menu from the restaurant we would be eating. Each chose the food we wanted for lunch so it would be ready when we got there. Some options were Fish and Chips, sandwiches, salads etc.
