Discover the amazing Arrabida Natural Park on a guided kayaking tour that starts in Sesimbra harbour. Explore the coastal environment with hidden caves and relax on sandy beaches for a quick swim in the serene waters.
Your guide/instructor will help you find your way, as you explore the cliffs, caves, rock tunnels and other geological wonders during the tour. You’ll also have time to rest and enjoy a snack on Praia do Ribeiro do Cavalo, one of Portugal’s areas which contains crystal clear waters.

Mario was super nice and friendly, patiently waiting for the slower one’s to catch up whilist taking pics in the kayak every time he could. Really great tour and provider. Booked the wrong date and when we didn't show up they called wondering where we were - we explained we had mixed up our dates and they said no problem and called us later that day to say they could put us on a tour the next day. The tour itself was brilliant, lots of fish in the water and guide had great knowledge of fishing port history and all the nature we saw when visiting caves and beaches along the beautiful Arrabida coastline. We stopped for 45mins at the stunning Praia do Ribeiro do Cavalo beach, where the guide even provided a snacks and refreshments for the group. Highly recommended.

I had the pleasure of having Tomás as a guide, and he exceeded all expectations with his welcoming, friendly, and helpful demeanor. He was an absolute joy to be around. Tomás expertly guided us through various caves, recommended the best beaches, and shared fascinating history about Sesimbra and the places we visited. During our rest stop, he ensured everyone reached shore safely and provided us with snacks, fruit, and juice.
Tomás consistently checked on everyone’s well-being, ensuring the pace was comfortable and that we were all having a great time. His dedication to our enjoyment and safety was remarkable. I cannot praise our wonderful guide enough.
The kayak tour was immensely enjoyable, and I highly recommend it. The experience matched the description perfectly. Just a tip: wear plenty of sunscreen and a hat to protect yourself from the sun.
A special note: Two days after my tour, I was back at the marina for a scuba dive. Tomás recognized me, came over to say hello, asked about my dive, and gave me a warm hug. His kindness and friendliness are truly heartwarming.

An unforgettable experience! I absolutely loved my guided kayak tour in the Arrábida Natural Park and caves. The scenery was breathtaking, with majestic cliffs and crystal-clear waters. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the area, making the tour even more enriching. Paddling through the caves and exploring their mysteries was a truly unique moment. I highly recommend this excursion to all nature lovers and outdoor adventurers!

This was such a great experience and well worth the money. We kayaked in double kayaks along the cliff edge and saw amazing rock formations and caves. Martim was an amazing guide, fitting our pace and stopping to show us the beauty. We stopped midway at a lovely beach where we were given some snacks and a drink before heading back. Martim also took photos for us to remember the day with. The tour lasted about 3 hours and was a great way to spend the morning, would highly recommend!

Great kayak trip, very friendly staff who made sure we knew what we were doing, looked after everyone and gave us information about the area, including a good place to eat afterwards. I fully recommend this trip. 'Our roots' also keep numbers down to 12 (6 boats) which is great because otherwise there would have been a lot more waiting around in coves and caves.
Really enjoyed the kayaking, beautiful views, calm, cliffs and coves, not too difficult for most people (though I imagine if it was very windy it would have been harder work)

We had a great time on the kayak with our guide Tomás! We wanted something sporty, fun (but still safe) & to explore the beautiful nature around Sesimbra and we got exactly that. Tomás worked with our speed and catered to any wishes like taking photos of us.

We had an amazing experience with our kayaking tour guide Annamechna. She was amazing! The best kayaking trip ever. We spent 3 hours on a tour and enjoyed the breathtaking view of turquoise waters and caves

We did a kayak tour with Martello. It was amazing. The water was calm and the views were beautiful. We kayaked through a few caves and enjoyed a short stop on a beach for a snack. Martello was a wonderful guide sharing the history of the area as we went along our journey. Highly recommend for a few hours out on the water

We really enjoyed the kayaking and loved being out on the water. Manuel was a really professional, entertaining host and full of local knowledge. Tip: bring along some goggles to check out the fish when you get a chance.

Took a last minute day trip from Lisbon to Sesimbra with my family. It was an easy Uber to/from and it tuned out to be one of the highlights of our whole trip to Portugal! Thomas was the most hospitable guide we could have asked for. He always made sure that we were safe and comfortable and had some great information on Sesimbra to share. The kayaking was easy enough despite not really having any experience and being in the open water. Highlights were the caves and the secret beach. Had a wonderful time!
