Overview
Kealakekua Bay, home to the Captain Cook Monument, is located on the coast of Kona and only accessible by boat or hiking. With this tour, take a relaxing lunch or dinner cruise to the hard-to-reach spot, and enjoy the included Hawaiian-style buffet, cocktail, and live entertainment.
What to Expect
Your cruise begins at the Kailua Pier where you board the boat for a 12-mile journey down the Kona coastline. Sit back and relax as a local historian shares stories about the landmarks you pass on the way to the Captain Cook Monument.
Upon arrival, enjoy a cocktail from the fully stocked bar and an island-style buffet. A typical buffet includes fresh fruit, assorted cheeses, salads and local breads for appetizers. For entrees enjoy kalua pork and cabbage, braised beef brisket, BBQ chicken, or veggie rice pilaf. Make sure to save room for dessert and Kona coffee. Additional cocktails are available for purchase.
Keep an eye out for dolphins, turtles, manta rays, and seasonal humpback whales. Take in the sites of Ahu'ena Heiau, Keauhou Holua Slide, and Kuamo’o Battlefield as you sail back to the pier.

Sunset Adventure

What a perfect way to end a day in Kailua-Kona: a sunset dinner cruise. The staff members were attentive, entertainment was extraordinary, historical narration was fascinating, and the food was great! We would do this again.

Our Body Glove Dinner Cruise was an excellent trip. Seeing Kona coast from the ocean was great, both day and night. The highlights from this sunset dinner cruise started with great local narative of the regions history. On the cruise we saw lots of spinner...More
