Small Group Big Island Twilight Volcano and Stargazing Tour
US$204.00
Overview

The Big Island of Hawaii has so many highlights, it can be hard to fit them all into just one day. For travelers short on time, this Big Island twilight volcano tour is the perfect guided experience. During just 12 hours, you’ll sample Kona-grown coffee from a local farm, taste Hawaiian sweet bread, catch sight of sea turtles at Punalu'u Beach, and get to see the glowing lava from a previous volcanic eruption. Plus, your guide takes you to one of the most beautiful areas for stargazing, too.

What to Expect
Begin your tour with pickup at your Big Island hotel. Meet your guide and drive to your first stop at the Greenwell Kona Coffee Farm, where you’ll walk through the orchards and sample some Kona-grown coffee.

Your next stop is at the Punalu’u Bakery. Taste traditional Hawaiian sweet bread and malasadas before moving on to the black-sand beach in search of sea turtles.

Continue on your journey to enjoy lunch at the historic Kilauea Lodge. After lunch, follow your guide to see the lava glow of the most current volcanic eruption.

Your last stop on this guided tour is at a remote location where your guide helps you use a Celestron telescope to stargaze.

Your Big Island tour ends with a drop-off back at your hotel.
