Kon-Tiki Museum Entrance Ticket
US$11.01
Overview
Plan your time in Oslo ahead with a prepaid ticket to the Kon-Tiki Museum, which is dedicated to Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl and his balsa wood raft, the Kon-Tiki. Skip the ticket line and get access to all exhibits, as well as a noon showing of an acclaimed documentary about the explorer’s adventures. Tickets are valid anytime during the museum's opening hours, allowing you to choose your schedule and pace.
What to Expect
There is lots to do in Oslo, and making sure you cover it all in one trip is no small task. By buying your ticket to the popular Koi-Tiki museum ahead of time, you'll save time and hassle with quick, convenient entry.

Take as long as you'd like perusing the exhibits dedicated to Norway's most famous explorer, Thor Heyerdahl, who crossed the Pacific Ocean on the balsa wood raft known as the Koi-Tiki. See the original vessel in the museum, as well as the reed boat Ra and other exhibitions dedicated to the explorer's exploits. Skim through Thor Heyerdahl's library, see an underwater exhibit with a life-size model of a whale shark, and head underground for a cave tour. The ticket also includes access to the noon showing of the Oscar-winning documentary, Kon-Tiki.

If you have read the book or watched the movie, you will think "I do not believe that many guys without sailing experience could live on a raft for 100 days". Then come to the Kon- Tiki museum and you can SEE the raft. Thor...More

Engrossing

This museum was a pleasant surprise. I didn’t know anything about the Kon Tiki or Thor Heyerdahl before visiting, but found myself fascinated by the story that this museum told so well, and a little baffled that anyone would be daring enough to take such...More
