Kon-Tiki Museum Entrance Ticket
From US$11.28
Plan your time in Oslo ahead with a prepaid ticket to the Kon-Tiki Museum. Make sure you hit all the historical must-see museums, including this one, which is dedicated to Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl and his balsa wood raft, the Kon-Tiki. Your ticket includes access to all exhibits, as well as a noon showing of the Kon-Tiki documentary. Tickets are valid anytime during the museum's opening hours, allowing you to choose your schedule and pace.
What to Expect
There is lots to do in Oslo, and making sure you cover it all in one trip is no small task. By buying your ticket to the popular Koi-Tiki museum ahead of time, you'll save time and hassle with quick, convenient entry.

Take as long as you'd like perusing the exhibits dedicated to Norway's most famous explorer, Thor Heyerdahl, who crossed the Pacific Ocean on the balsa wood raft known as the Koi-Tiki. See the original vessel in the museum, as well as the reed boat Ra and other exhibitions dedicated to the explorer's exploits. Skim through Thor Heyerdahl's library, see an underwater exhibit with a life-size model of a whale shark, and head underground for a cave tour. The ticket also includes access to the noon showing of the Oscar-winning Koi-Tiki documentary.

A very well laid out and interesting exhibition. Great story how Mr Heyerdahl and his colleagues travelled and visited amazing places. If you're ever in Oslo, I thoroughly recommend it.

Very nice

Incredible to see original ships that sailed to the Polynesian islands from South America and the Tiki sculptures originally from Easter island brought back by Thor.
