Highlights
    What to Expect
Discover the exquisite beauty of Vienna’s beloved Schönbrunner Gardens and its key attractions by mini-train. Make your own way to Schönbrunner Gardens to begin your hop-on, hop-off sightseeing tour, then grab a seat on the convenient train for a ride through the massive UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy the flexibility of setting your own pace and itinerary with nine major stops along the 50-minute, full-circuit route (without stops). Enjoy panoramic views and informative commentary from a professional guide as your train circumnavigates the grounds.

With your full-day pass, hop on and off the mini-train at any of the designated stops. (Tour stops listed below) As you ride, admire beautiful Baroque landscapes and vibrant monumental buildings. Disembark to get close-up views of Schönbrunn Palace, the ornate Obelisk Fountain and more. You may purchase optional admission to the glass Palm House and Schönbrunn Zoo, or the imperial Gloriette monument. Give your legs a rest and ride the train up the steep path to the Gloriette. Between stops, explore the grounds’ many elaborate mazes, fountains and fairy-tale gardens.

Complete as many circuits as you’d like with your single-day ticket. To end your tour, disembark at any stop along the route. Click ‘View Additional Info’ for a map of the train route.

This was the perfect way to get to see as much as possible without having to walk. One really needs a lot of time to do justice and see the extensive estate. The mini train passed through forest areas, past the zoo, and had a stop with a stunning view of the palace and lake.
