This glacier trekking tour in South Iceland meets at the Sólheimajökull Glacier parking area.

Right from the start, your guide gives you a safety instruction, so you’ll feel confident when you hit the ice.

Afterward, gear up with crampons, ice axes, and other glacial hiking gear. Follow your guide through the wild landscape as you take in stunning views around Sólheimajökull. Climb through deep crevasses and ice tunnels, and catch sight of natural ice sculptures. Your guide tells you about the geology of the area and how and why the glacier changes over time.
