About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- arnaudc20140 contributionsGreat tour and a great guidereally a big thank you for the quality of the excursions and for the good mood of Ritchie. He gave us a lot of great and useful informations thru his website and via whatsapp throughout the journey. It shows great professionalism, good preparation and it was very useful. frankly it was great. congratulations to you. thank you!Written 11 December 2024
- 431roisinm0 contributionsThank you M&M! Must do tour.Wow Wow Wow! This tour was incredible. I’ve never found waterfalls so beautiful or interesting but these are some sights to behold! The Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach is breathtaking and definitely something I would love to see again even if it takes 200 odd miles! Everything went smoothly, no one was late after each stop and everyone was so friendly. Big shout out to Matt for his amazing fun facts and for keeping everyone entertained on the long journey. Also a huge thank you to Mr Miami (Apologies I can’t remember your actual name!) amazing driver and very friendly. Fun fact from my home of Wales! There are 4 times the amount of sheep than there are people in wales.Written 11 December 2024
- ukyyeung0 contributionsWaiting for the sky to play music in the cold! This experience will be unforgettable for a lifetime. It is absolutely impossible to encounter such a beautiful environment while living in Southeast Asia! Take long walks to learn to appreciate the bigger world! Seeing the aurora for the first time in life, it feels like the sky is playing music for the world, with high and low melody, and the background of the environment makes it even more dazzling.Written 10 December 2024
- 249chiragb0 contributionsAwesome tour !Tour guide was super nice and knew exactly what he was talking about. View was amazing despite the fog ! An absolute necessity if visiting Iceland :)Written 10 December 2024
- I5096FZzoeb0 contributionsNorthern Lights Tour with RitchieReally good host, great tips on phone settings and really tried to get us to a great location despite cloudy skies. Saw some lovely light shows which popped brilliantly on our phones and cameras.Written 10 December 2024
- Megannoblett0 contributionsSolid 27/10 day!!Matthew was the star of the show as our tour guide, and Aran kept us safe and laughing as the best driver you could ask for. Together, they were a dynamic duo that made the whole day a blast! The fun facts? Equal parts hilarious and fascinating—it’s like we got a comedy show with a side of trivia. And the geyser stop? Absolutely bonkers. At one point, it erupted six times in three minutes! Nature really showing off there. As for the Secret Lagoon, it was chef’s kiss. So hot, so relaxing—I could’ve happily turned into a raisin and stayed there forever. The day went off without a hitch, and I’d 74/10 recommend this trip to anyone looking for a perfect adventure. Fun fact about the UK: Did you know it’s illegal to handle salmon suspiciously in England? True story.Written 10 December 2024

- JasnaM190 contributionsTrip to SnaefellsnesAlain is an amazing Tourguide, you can see and feel that he loves what he is doing. He knows what he is talking about and is always so helpfull. Would totally to any other trip with him! He showed us alot eventhough the weather was kinda on the bad side, the tour was still a full success! And Aaron was a wonderful busdriver, he drove calm but we were in time back in Reykjavík. You did feel safe how he drove!Written 9 December 2024
- emcx22150 contributionsGolden circle and blue lagoon tourHighly recommend. Beggi our tour guide was amazing! He was Very informative and kind and made the trip enjoyable. Got so much done in one day and there was just the right time at each stop. 100% recommendWritten 9 December 2024
- JamieN0A0 contributionsAmazing!I just came back from the Snaefellsness pensinsula tour and I must say that despite an uncertain and changing weather it was amazing! In every stop the tour guide (Alain) and the driver (Aaron) managed to get us the best view and the most out of the locations. I highly recommend this company for their knowledge, kindness and passion they put in what they are showing of Iceland. Not only you see a good portion or the wester Iceland but you also learn some sagas and historical Icelandic parts. Thanks a lot!Written 9 December 2024
- CindyLinyy0 contributionsGreat experience, tour leader is a pro!We visited the glacier, waterfalls, black sand beach. Ritchie is such a great tour guide. He helped every single one of the members to take memorable photos and also provided extra tips and hints to explore the scenes in depth. Another plus is provide helpful guidance with how to order lunch more efficiently within the limited time frame of the time slot.Written 9 December 2024
- jam3shughes0 contributionsWhat a beautiful trip!Ritchie and Pacco were fantastic guides and drivers. They had a wealth of local knowledge and from how they acted and passionately spoke about areas during the trip you could tell they loved doing this job. Iceland in winter is incredible and Ritchie with Paccos incredible driving managed to get us to see a couple of extra secluded spots along the way. The information through the QR code Ritchie had complied was fantastic and allowed those that didn’t speak Icelandic or English to still feel involved and not like they were missing out. If you’re wanting to come to Iceland the Golden Circle and the guys who run these tours are the people to go to. Thank you guys!Written 9 December 2024
- shannena4510 contributionsJeff & driver!!I think our tour guys name was Jeff! He was brilliant, after a little commotion trying to arrange busses and people on the right ones we got on the road a little later but the whole day made up for it and it wasn’t too bad. Everyone was sat on the busses instead of in the cold whilst people were switched from groups depending on the tour they were doing! This was brilliant as it was freezing outside!! He was very informative, really chatty and helpful, gave so much advice and information about everything, from the driving to the locations we were going, he gave his advice on where to stand at certain places and was just overall a really lovely guide! Me and my partner had the best day, we would definitely recommend this tour. The driver was brilliant too, drove in some tough conditions but did so really well, we all felt safe, it wasn’t crazy and like a rollercoaster, he was very mindful and got us everywhere we needed to, on time and happy! Really really pleasant trip and we were so pleased we would definitely do it again!!Written 8 December 2024
- shannena4510 contributionsThe aurora whispererOur guide “Daniel” I think his name was or other wise known as the Aurora whisperer was brilliant. I think we booked through get your guide so not 100% on the company, but it’s the most recommended one on there. He knew exactly where we needed to get to, our first stop had us all amazed. We seen them!! Odds were stacked against us, and it wasn’t looking brilliant but, non the less we stopped twice and seen them! The second time we stopped for a while. He was really informative, gave us all the info we needed regarding pictures and how best to capture them, whether it be iPhone, android or camera. All the information about the northern lights themselves, what they are, how they work and the best ways to find them. We had hot chocolate on our second stop! We did the 9:30 tour so it was COLD and I mean colder than anything I’ve ever known, be sure to take warm things!! I absolutely loved it, a dream come true. The music was just fitting, everything was well thought out and planned, a credit to the company. The only comment we would make (not me particularly I was over the moon regardless just for seeing them) but my partner, was a bit deflated that we only stopped twice and the second time was for quite some time we get we probably could have got another spot in, (whether this was because the guide didn’t think we would see them else where or not we’re not sure) but over 4 hours we only stopped twice to get out the bus. Thats however the only thing we would note that could be worth examining. Overall, definitely do it! And if you don’t see them they guarantee you a free chance again!! Really really worth it!! Completely made our trip!!Written 8 December 2024
- Williamstravelers0 contributionsBeautiful views on golden circle tour - rude tour guide. Not impressed by the way we watched several paying customers be spoken to by our female tour guide. Firstly, we were picked up at 11.05 when the time frame is 10.30-11am. Then she shouted down the bus telling people to hurry up and sit down else we can’t leave…when they were already late to pick us up? Next, we headed to meet a bus to collect more customers. We sat until 11.20 with no communication from her as to what was going on? We didn’t get on the road until 11.30am. Her first time talking through the microphone she turned around and said to the customers directly behind her (at the front) ‘you’re going to have to stop talking whilst I am or I’m going to have to move you to the back’ in a really condescending and abrupt tone - all of us up front who heard were gobsmacked at the rudeness! She was abrupt and rude the entire trip and would not stop talking about herself. Fortunately, the stops gave us free time to wander off and do our own thing away from her. The landscape is beautiful but in future I would pay extra for a different tour with a kinder tour guide and I suggest you do the same if considering booking.Written 8 December 2024

The tour was well organized! Tour guide was informative and enjoyed the tour as much as we all did! Then afterwards called out who was registered for the sky lagoon which was well organized! They gave me everything included as well as a taxi at your desired time! Overall this was my favorite tour during my solo trip to Iceland it was truly otherworldly seeing so much raw nature! Highly recommend!

Tour was great! Not going to lie after reading the reviews on other sites I was a little worried regarding the logistics of the sky lagoon portion of the trip but I think they worked on it and it turned out great! Such a nice way to end a long day on the bus. The booking was for 7pm, We were dropped off first at the end of the tour before the other drop offs and got there around 6:30pm. All we had to do was tell the guide what time we wanted the taxi to pick us up. We stayed until 9pm but with your booking you could stay until 9:30pm. At 9pm there was a super nice cab driver waiting for us outside of the facility who brought us right to the hotel and it was all paid for by the tour company.
The tour itself was good, saw some amazing sites, lots of driving but that was expected. We got some great photos. The guide made the drive not so bad, lots of good stories and information provided. Driver did great with the super windy weather.
My only criticism was the first part with switching busses. It seemed a little unorganized with some busses being late so some tours couldn’t start on time. But otherwise the tour was great and really enjoyed seeing the beautiful south coast!

Anna was a charming, erudite and funny guide to the beautiful south coast (and an excellent singer!)
The south coast has a cute little village called Vik and plenty of waterfalls and glaciers.
The Sky Lagoon is also well worth visiting

We took the South Coast & Sky Lagoon tour from Reykjavik on a beautiful day and saw some incredible views: waterfalls, the black beach and a glacier. The South coast is a must see when in Iceland!
We really appreciated our tour guide's stories and tips during the day. Extra thanks to him for altering the programme so that we could see the Skogafoss waterfall bathing in sunlight with a huge rainbow.
Five stars to the guide and the views!
What we didn't like about this tour: we paid extra to get transport from near our hotel to the main bus. A bad choice. As our ride got us to the bus, it was already full of people and only some scattered seats left. We couldn't sit together with my husband and talk which was boring as it was a looong day in the bus.
Another thing we didn't realize when booking this tour: in November, when you get to the Sky Lagoon after the tour, it's dark and you can't really see the seaview. And you get there pretty late. (Our tour started at 8 am, at 19.15 we got there.)
We were the only people to go there from our Soutch Coast tour bus and they took us there last. It was frustrating to sit in the bus and wait until all the other passegers had been driven to their busstops in Reykjavik...
Had I known this, I wouldn't have combined Sky Lagoon with South coast tour. Sky Lagoon itself is nice and luxurious, but you might get more out of it when you can appreciete the view or admire the sunset.
