My husband and I eloped in Iceland, and had the most magical photoshoot with Petra to commemorate the occasion. She was so friendly and helpful with directing us on different poses. The locations she picked out were absolutely breathtaking and really just made everything perfect. I'm so happy with the entire experience, and definitely recommend booking with Petra!

We had a fantastic day with Luke on the Golden Circle Secret Lagoon tour. He collected us from the hotel with a warm friendly greeting and explained the tour. The sights are amazing and he took some fantastic photos of us capturing the water falls and geysers. Luke’s knowledge of the island was impressive and throughout the trip made sure we were always comfortable We ended the trip at the secret Lagoon and Luke told us to take as long as we wished We wouldn’t hesitate to book another trip with Luke

Our group had varying ages and a range of interests/activity levels and he did a great job planning our days out - he even managed to dial up a few days of sun! ;) He was organized, responsive, and thoughtfully bought us some local treats to try - Prince Polo! We made an album of our trip and loved that he took some great photos to include. Super time had by all!

Our afternoon with Luke was wonderful!!! He is very patient, accommodating and knowledgeable of the area. He took us to many beautiful places out of the crowds and took AMAZING photos that captured our memories forever. I highly recommend Luke if you are visiting Reykjavik!!

We spent a fantastic 12 days with Luke exploring all of Iceland 🇮🇸. He showed us many hidden secret places, and all that was iconic. We had a fantastic time! We really got to know the people, culture, and food of Iceland 🇮🇸.

Our group of 4 was picked up/dropped off at Reykjavík apartment after easy booking online and clear communications via email and speaking personally on WhatsApp. We booked 2 days seeing magnificent bluffs, waterfalls, lava fields, etc that included hiking we requested. Our other 2 days, as Luke recommended we see on our own as we had a rented car included South Coast and Golden Circle (both of which were crowded with tourists). The areas Luke took us (Highlands and Reykjanes peninsula) were definitely off the beaten path. No tour buses or tourists. One particular waterfall was so grand that in all my travels it was most beautiful sight I’ve ever seen!!

When I wanted to propose to my girlfriend in Iceland, Luke crafted an amazing experience taking us to some breathtaking spots and planning the whole day incredibly. He was flexible depending on the weather, especially when it was pouring with rain and snow when I was just about to propose! We persisted and Luke put time, care and attention to make sure it was a perfect moment for us. The day was the right balance of secret spots and the well known areas in Iceland. Luke was very chill, knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to be able to share our special day with him. He really made it a trip of a lifetime. Luke also captured our day through great photos and videos for which we will always be grateful for. We even managed to go on second day tour to the south coast later in the week and Luke treated us to local Icelandic snacks and ice cream! Next time we are in Iceland we will be sure to see Luke again and definitely recommend to anyone planning a trip!

Even before we arrived in Iceland Luke helped answers our questions. Traveling with a group of 4 we wanted to see as much as possible and having Luke as our guide and driver allowed us to see so many sights. Loved getting his candid and group pictures of our group too! He's dependable and timely! We would love to visit Iceland again and would definitely ask Luke to guide us again! 🇮🇸

A reminder of the power and beauty of nature, expertly guided and captured in photos by Luke. This was the trip of a lifetime for a milestone birthday, though we weren’t sure where to start or what to see. The tourist guide websites felt overwhelming in terms of choice of things to do and it was difficult to know what to book. Thankfully, we found Luke at @secretspotsoficeland. Not only did he provide counsel ahead of our trip of where to stay and eat in Reykjavik, he also helped curate a tailored itinerary for us and our two nearly adult children on the South Coast of Iceland. There was something for everyone - physical challenges for our teens, majestic beauty and nature for us and great culinary recommendations along the way. Not only was the trip well planned, Luke’s love of both Iceland and the spectacular beauty around us was palpable. He has shared the most precious photos of our family with us as a result and we are so grateful for these memories being captured on film. Iceland will stay with us for decades to come - and we are so grateful for Luke’s part in making this an experience we will never forget.

I went to Iceland for the first time on a birthday trip. If you want a customized private off road adventure/photo session making you feel like the luckiest person in the world then go with Luke. He was amazing. He was able to show us a lot in the short winter time we had. I plan to come back for a different season!

We had a wonderful time on our tour with Luke! Our whole family went on a trip to Iceland and Luke made sure to show us many cool spots, and also tailored the trip to our requests very well. Luke is a friendly, knowledgeable tour guide so you are sure to have a great time. He also takes excellent photos throughout the whole trip that are great! We definitely recommend booking with Luke!

I hired Luke in June of 2023 for 5 days of private tours with my family of 4. Luke’s website said he preferred not to your with children, so I clarified beforehand and he told me that was kids under 5. We communicated extensively before our arrival, and he told me “tours include transportation, guidance, side entrance fees, and photography. The only that are not included is accommodation and food.” We were excited to see non-touristy, off the beaten path stuff, and to really get to know the country. A significant bonus for us was to get a nice assortment of family pictures, as my kids are growing up fast. The reality was disappointing. We went to precisely one off the beaten path stop (an off-road trail to a small waterfall) in four days. Everything else was the standard spots everyone else went to. Luke was not particularly engaging, especially with the kids. I had to reprimand him to stay off his phone while driving, because otherwise he kept texting on the highway. And the photos he took we terrible. Over 4 full days, he send over a total of 53 retouched pictures, many of them were duplicates and not one was “great.” Our tour guide in the ice caves put more effort into taking family pictures in the 5 minutes we handed her my phone. It got so bad, that we considered leaving Iceland early – but since we couldn’t change our flights, we decided to cancel the last day with Luke (I told him I’d pay whatever he thought was fair for the final day, and he charged 80%). Once we got rid of him, we loved Iceland and finally learned what all the fuss was about. I do not recommend booking with Luke.

Luke is a fantastic guide who we would not hesitate to recommend! We were together for 3 days and he took us to Snaefelsness and the south coast. It was a constant series of discoveries and avoided the crowds. Luke looked after us perfectly, accommodating any and all requests and even treated us with a surprise gift to celebrate my wife’s birthday.

Luke was such a pleasure. Very professional, knowledgeable ,thoughtful and kind He planned our trip so well and took us to the most beautiful beaches, glaciers, lagoons, and waterfalls. Just finished a week tour of Iceland with Luke. What an amazing and exciting country. We saw beautiful coastline cliffs and the waterfalls were everywhere. He took us to cozy little cafes for lunch with interesting businesses attached. He found us beautiful black sand beaches to walk on and amazing glaciers to view with icebergs floating past.
