We thought this was great value for money. The exhibits were interesting and full of information. Suitable for adults not just children. We learned a lot about the movement of the techtonic plates and the volcanoes in Iceland, the shrinking glaciers which is what we came for.

Our whale watching was cancelled due to weather & we decided to enjoy Perlan. We certainly don't regret coming to Perlan, as there was so much to learn & the various displays & exhibitions were so nice, good quality & instructive. We feel we learned so much about Iceland & we're

Having our Golden Circle tour deferred for a day due to the weather we had time to kill one day. We walked up to Perlan and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We paid for the full experience, the museum, observation deck and the northern lights planetarium show. Well worth it.

Dear julesamd, I am delighted to read how much you enjoyed your visit at Perlan. Thank you for sharing this experience with us. Great that you enjoyed Áróra, our planetarium movie. Icelandic composer Ragga Gisla and Pétur Jónsson created the music. Did you know that Áróra is the only 8K northern lights show in the world? The script is the work of leading writers and scientists, and the photography is unique - created explicitly for this movie. In our real ice cave, you see many features of full-size glaciers. The interactive glacier exhibition then provides greater insight into Icelandic glaciers and their future - an adventure for people of all ages. It would be fantastic to welcome you again at Perlan. By then, I am sure new exhibits and spectacles are waiting for you to explore. With best regards, Steffi

Dear Alex M, thank you so much for leaving us a review. Did you know that Perlan is built around six water tanks? Four of the six hot-water tanks hold geothermal hot water - about 4 million liters each. One of them is now home to our Planetarium, and another one houses the real ice cave and glacier exhibition. I am happy you enjoyed Áróra, our northern lights planetarium show. There, you see how northern lights form in outer space and see them dance all around you. It is the only 8K northern lights experience of its kind in the world. We feel that explorers of all ages can find suitable activities and information to enjoy. Stay safe and healthy! It would be great if you could revisit us one day. Warm regards, Steffi

We did the full museum tour - ice cave, exhibits, observation deck, and aurora planetarium show. Definitely worth the visit - alot of the exhibits had an interactive component. The exhibits were primarily about the geography and natural beauty/resources of iceland. The aurora

Dear Jodi L, how wonderful to hear, thank you for writing about your visit. We think of our exhibition as a place to explore Iceland's geological history, its wildlife, sealife, and birdlife, & exciting phenomenons like Ice Caves. Furthermore, we are giving an outlook into the future of our glaciers and the effects of climate change. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed the views from our observation deck. We are also fond of our views - 360° over Reykjavík, the surrounding areas & the mountains all around. In the summer around June, you can experience 24 hours of sunlight. In the winter, our days are concise so that you can enjoy sunrise and sunset both on our deck, just a few hours apart. Stay healthy and safe. It would be wonderful to welcome you back to Perlan one day. Best wishes, Steffi
