Simon A was a wonderful tour guide. He took us to all the spots we were hoping to see and was a wealth of knowledge about them and Iceland in general. Never felt rushed at each spot.

We booked this through East West tours, sister company to Wake Up Reykjavik. The South Coast tour was amazing. Our tour guide Simon A. knew so much about the history, geology, and culture of Iceland, keeping us both informed and entertained during the long driving portions. We saw beautiful and awe inspiring waterfalls, the beautiful black sand beach, glaciers, and so much more. We never felt rushed, he provided plenty of breaks for food and facilities access. He went above and beyond adding a few surprise stops because the weather and visibility were unusually good. Simon is a gem amongst tour guides!

Carlos was a great guide who told us a lot about the island and their culture. The south tour is definitely worth it, we saw dramatic landscapes, glaciers and beautiful waterfalls.

Baldwin gave us a great tour and a great introduction to Iceland’s many beautiful landmarks. He provided lots of interesting info along the way and was able to answer all of our questions. We loved it all but our favorite was the waterfall we got to walk behind. What an amazing experience!!

What a magical day! I kind of decided to go to Iceland on a whim and wasn't entirely sure what to expect. From thundering waterfalls, to waves crashing on a black sand beach, to a truly awe-inspiring glacier (near the site where they filled several scenes for "Game of Thrones"), this tour was a feast for the senses. And did I mention the baby sheep?! 🥹 The experience was made even better by the fact that our guide, Siggi, was such an entertaining character! The longest stretches of driving between stops were about 1.5 hours, which passed quickly enough thanks to Siggi's stories. If you're someone who's prone to boredom, though, you might want to bring a distraction for those stretches.

My husband and I are not outdoorsy and have never done any type of guided tour before so we were afraid we might not enjoy this. Siggi proved us wrong *and* made me wish we were staying in Iceland for longer. He was funny and friendly; the kind of guy you’d want to grab a drink with. I am so glad I picked South Coast over the Golden Circle! We took a bazillion photos, had a tasty lunch (Skyr cake!), hiked and ran around like kids and really had just the best time. It was amazing. Our tour guide Leroy was awesome! Fun, interesting, smart, personable and a great story teller! He created a wonderful and informative tour for us and was always available for questions and chat once we arrived at our destinations. We visited some spectacular places that we'll never forget and fell in love with Iceland despite the blustery May weather which, in the end, actually added positively to the drama of the gorgeous sites.

Amazing experience. The one and only leroy was a great guide, full of enthusiasm and local knowlegde! We were lucky with the weather and the sites were amazing. The rainbow with the waterfall was a particular highlight and something that we’ll remember forever!

Great experience with East West and fantastic guide Simon (the first). Initial booking cancelled for weather but rebook was easy. Simon was fantastic, personable, knowledgeable, funny. Helped us roll with the punches during weather that ranged from pouring sleet to blue skies. Able to respond to all sorts of questions- both typical tourist and more in depth like how does the economy work here. He has 14 years experience and it shows in the best way.

This was an incredible tour!! Simon was a fantastic guide and did an incredible job of driving through the thickest fog I had ever seen! He was very knowledgeable about the history of Iceland and treated us to some amazing Icelandic music along the way. The sights and sounds of the South Coast CANNOT be missed! This tour was incredible and you will regret if you miss out on this! The blank sand beach was stunning and the waterfalls were absolutely breathtaking! This is a must do! Very professional and overall a 5 star experience!!

Booked this tour because I have mobility problems and find climbing onto big coaches very difficult. No problems on this trip. We were collected from our hotel, for our tour to the south coast, and our guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the geography, history and folklore of the area as we drove along. The scenery is incredible, very photogenic and atmospheric, waterfalls, mountains, glaciers and coastline no wonder so many of the local population believe in trolls and elves. Our guide could not have been more considerate,and friendly and her dog, Luna , made the day even more special. Thank you so much.

A great but long day out. We booked our trip through Jet2. Bus picked up from hotel and our first stop was the Golden Water fall. You could walk up pretty close and take photos. The 2nd stop was the famous Solheimajokull glacier. Amazing and disturbing to see how climate change has effected the glacier. Next we stopped at the black sand beach. Used a a location in an episode of Game of Thrones, where we experienced real Icelandic weather ( as the guide des robes it ). Lunch in a local village. Busy with tours but the food was excellent. Last stop was Seljalandsfos waterfall. Nature at it most amazing. You can walk behind the waterfall which is highly recommend. The Jet2 tour we did has a really informative guide who made the tour very interesting. A really good day that we’d highly recommend
