          Incredible day!
A beautiful, extensive tour designed to see so many sights and end off the day with a relaxing soak in the blue lagoon. Walter, our driver and guide was simply the best. He kept us entertained for all 12 hours of the tour. We left on time and were given sufficient time at each stop. We got back to the ship with enough time to Spare. He even stopped at extra spots for us to see horses and city sights. I’m so glad we booked this tour, you can tell Walter loves his job. We were blessed to be touring with him today. We Will definitely be back!

          Brilliant day tour
A brilliant day seeing the best of Iceland. Pick up as arranged from the bus stop near the hotel. We had a small group on our mini bus picked up from a few different locations around Reykjavík and the tour guide was really nice man full of knowledge and very welcoming. Once everyone was on board the trip started with the drive to the national park. A great spot with lovely walks and views. Gullfoss Waterfall was amazing a real highlight of the day wasn't expecting. A few other stops at the mentioned locations all great and well worth seeing. It's a long day but very enjoyable. The tour finishes at the Blue Lagoon and it's a brilliant place so well run and organised. Really relaxing I'd have stayed all evening if possible! There's plenty of places to pick up food and drinks throughout the day but not a bad idea to bring a few bits yourself to save money as the restaurants are expensive. I'd recommend this tour to anyone it's a great day out.

          Great Icelandic Tour
Stunning otherworldly beauty of Iceland! From majestic waterfalls, geysirs, tectonic plates, volcano crater and a perfect way to cap off the day at the Blue Lagoon. We did our tour in the afternoon which has lesser crowds. It was a great day and worth every penny. Highly recommended!

No better way to see the Golden Circle and Blue Lagoon!
This tour with Kristoff (Kiki) was just outstanding! It is a long day but oh so worth it! The sights we saw were amazing, and there was plenty of time to see everything. You didn’t have to rush at all and could fully enjoy each place. Our guide told us everything about Thingvellir, Gulfoss, Geysir, Kerid crater, and the Blue Lagoon, plus so much more about life in Iceland. He made the tour a lot of fun, and the day went very fast. Even though the weather was rainy at one point, he had everything well planned. Ending with a heavenly two hour soak in the Blue Lagoon just capped off a perfect day! Pickup and dropoff at your hotel, the cruise port, or a nearby bus stop (if your hotel is on a pedestrian street) was very convenient as well. We’ve taken a lot of these kinds of tours over the years, and this tour was one of the best we’ve ever experienced. Make it easy on yourself and just let them do the driving around the Golden Circle in comfortable small group buses with Wifi.

          Golden Circle tour fom Reykjavik
We took this wonderful tour with Michael as our guide and driver. He was very informative and fun. The itinerary was excellent and exactly what we were looking for. The icing on the cake was our final stop at the Blue Lagoon after trekking up and down to picture perfect Kerid crater, Thingvellier National Park, Geyser Hot Springs and beautiful Guillfoss. Everything was perfectly timed! Highly recommend!

Walter was great guide, full of information and his enthusiasm for his country is obvious. He even gave us all candy which he bought.

          Spectacular day trip
What a fabulous day trip. Our small bus driver and guide was amazing. As a local he took some back roads into Game of Thrones filming areas and detoured to avoid excessive holiday traffic. The sites visited were extraordinarily beautiful. I would not hesitate to recommend this day trip that concluded with a 2 hour visit to the Blue Lagoon.

          Simply fascinating
I selected this tour because of the lava cave and while it was the highlight, all the stops were incredible! Barnafoss and Hrauneyjafoss are now my favorite waterfalls and I learned a good deal about Icelandic history and heritage. I highly recommend this tour!

Spectacular wilderness you only share with the birds
We traveled all over Iceland for ten days with Nice travel. This tour was the absolute highlight. Do you sometimes feel an almost spiritual connection with a place because its beauty and majesty are almost impossible to believe? This tour delivers. The bird cliff at Latrabjarg was the pinnacle with the puffins and all the other varieties. It’s an ornithologist’s dream. We had the pleasure of having David as a tour guide. David loves Iceland and it shows. He wants you to see its beauty and hear its call. I cannot say enough about how special he made the experience. I chose Iceland for a mother-dsughter adventure. We have memories snd experiences that are truly unique. The beauty of the place is burned into my brain. Its a place i will recall often when i need to remember its spectacular and unique nature. Please go before it is discovered and the wildness of it is changed forever. Some places are therapeutic in and of themselves. Go with David as he is the cherry on top of your sundae!

Don't get me wrong, the experiences themselves were jaw-droppingly awesome in every way and the entire experience will be remembered forever.
What didn't help was that I spent much of the day feeling angry about how the group we were in were deliberately frightened and 'coerced' into paying an additional ISK1500 (payable to the guide/driver) for crampons. He asked who'd brought any, described how slippery some of the areas were, said what dreadful accidents befall people who don't wear crampons and basically terrified people into 'hiring' sets from him. I noticed that other tour parties with the 'NiceTravel' company had not been 'forced' into wearing crampons so this was probably just this guide's personal racket. I went without and, whilst there were some slippery bits, it was perfectly possible (and safe) to go without.
If you booked a snowmobile trek and were charged extra for a helmet how would you feel? Or a pony trek where the saddle was an additional cost? If crampons are needed, say in advance or include them in the cost; don't terrify punters into an expensive surcharge.

Dear guest, thank your very much for reaching out to us. The experience you describe regarding the crampons should never happen on our tours. The guide had no permission to try to rent out crampons and he has been officially reprimended for this. We offer our guests crampons for free to use during tours when conditions require this. On behalf of the company, I sincerely apologize for this incident. Despite this, it is good to hear that you still enjoyed the amazing beauty of the Icelandic nature and the sights visited and we really hope to see you soon here again in Iceland on a tour with us, where you can enjoy the full NICE experience we strive to provide every day for our guests.

From start to finish, the communication and efficiency of Nice Travel was faultless. The tour guide and driver, Thor, was informative, funny and highly competent in both his driving in icy blizzard conditions and keeping the tour and visits to the various sites on time - allowing plenty of time on each of the stops for photos, comfort breaks, food and drink. Although the wind was bitterly cold on this occasion, with frequent snow showers, each of the attractions were exceptional - even the Blue Lagoon which concluded the trip, a surreal experience in wonderfully warm water, whilst snow fell on your head.

If you are not in Iceland for long I strongly recommend this tour. It is a long day but absolutely worth every penny!! It was one of my favourite days and our drive Arnie was hilarious!! Friendly and very knowledgable!!

I would defo recommend taking some snack and water, although you do stop for lunch.

Tbh I was a bit shocked when we had to PT desperately for our blue lagoon entry.. ended up paying £75 pp however I recommend booking ASAP in the hope of getting a better entry price. Other than that it was well worth every penny!!

The whole day was simply breathtaking from beginning to end. We were fortunate to have a boisterous, happy and nicely chatty guide named Christina who was not only a good guide but also an excellent driver. On a day of inclement weather when most tours were cancelled, she adventurously ensured we visited all sites and incredibly on time. Our colleagues were also very cooperative and not once was anyone late to depart on time..

I chose this tour for my actual birthday and it was the right decision. The bus was very clean, Skúli our driver and tour guide was very friendly he gave us so much interesting information about the tour sites and about Iceland history and culture. To say Skúli went above and beyond is an understatement! My phone died in the middle of the tour, he took pictures for us with his own camera and somehow he manage to get a charger from another tour guide. He also got us crampons when we got to a very icy trail. Very patient and funny! Now the tour itself: every single place was stunning! I had plenty of time to take as many videos and pictures as I wished and I got to enjoy the beauty and uniqueness of each one. It was PERFECT!

If you are going to Iceland, you must do this tour. It’s long, but totally worth it! The sights are some of the most beautiful I have seen in the world- exceeded my expectations. The tour itself was also very well organized, transport pick up was very easy and the tour guide gave enough interesting information but also didn’t talk us to death. Once we got to the various stops, we were able to explore, eat, shop or whatever you wanted until the shuttle left for the next stop. There were several stops with lunch options, there was no set time you had to eat. The last stop is the Blue Lagoon which is the only stop I didn’t feel we got enough time, although we were there almost two hours so I’m not sure how the tour would be able to build in more time with the other stops but you still have to pay full price separately to enter the lagoon regardless of how much time is spent there ($75-100/pp). We decided to go back another day we were there to spend more time, but of course had to pay entry again. We did learn while we were there there are other lagoons (the new Sky Lagoon) that are much closer to Reykjavik, if that is where you are staying. Similar pricing for entry but much closer and easier to get to- so you definitely have options if two hours isn’t enough for you. Overall, we had a fantastic time and it was a perfect start to our trip to see a lot of the Iceland beauty.

Great day trip! You get an overview of the diverse beauty of Iceland — tectonic plates, geysers, waterfalls, volcanic craters — ending with the blue lagoon — a must do! Christina was great. Knowledgeable, funny, happy — talked enough but let us relax too!
This excursion has a max capacity around 17. Other groups had the big busses — which to me is more like a “herd” of tourists. I highly recommend this trip. But again, choose one with the blue lagoon. You need to make sure you buy tickets in advance!

So to begin with, one day before our tour we had realised we were actually outside of the pick up zone. I contacted nice travel and they arranged for a small car to pick us up from where we were and take us to the tour bus. Our small car driver aka peter the sexy was hilarious. Very welcoming and funny.

The actual tour itself was just timed perfectly, not rushed but not overstated at any location. The tour guide was very informative and thoughtful.

So at the end I actually left an item on the coach bus, I contacted nice travel the next day and they had kept it at their office and I was able to pick it up. When ever I messaged them they where very quick to respond. I couldn’t recommend them more. 5*

The trip was so well organised, but somehow still really relaxed. Which for a solo traveller is brilliant!

I would defo recommend this trip you get to see everything in 1 day & end up with the last 2 hours at the blue lagoon to relax.... Heaven 😍

We had a great day with our tour guide Arnie who was good fun, a wealth of knowledge and very accommodating throughout the trip. We got to see the great sites of stunning iceland in the midst of winter.
Be prepared for significant sub zero temperatures and for the more frugal visitor it maybe advisable to bring snacks, however there are adequate rest breaks throughout the day.

The blue lagoon is literally a warm welcome at the end of the day. It really is very relaxing. The cost of admission to the blue lagoon is extra, but oh so worth it.
