Hop back on the bus for the journey to the lake-filled, 3,000-year-old Kerid crater. Stop to marvel at its magical-looking lake and colorful slopes. Next, visit the surreal Geysir geothermal area on foot, stopping at bubbling ponds, steam vents, and Geysir and Strokkur geysers. The next destinations are Gullfoss waterfall and the iconic Blue Lagoon. Choose to head inside the lagoon spa (own expense) if you’ve pre-booked admission. - sararA2420AU00Wonderful Golden Circle Tour! Our guide, Thorey, from the Golden Circle Tour went above and beyond to make sure that we were always comfortable and had plenty of time to enjoy each one of the wonderful sights on this tour. The Fridheimar Tomato Farm was an extra stop we had the chance to make, and it was absolutely worth it. Congratulations to the Nice Travel team for the excellent organization, and a special thank-you to Thorey for being so incredibly nice!
- JanaN92100Great guide and tourOlí, our driver and guide, was great! Information flowed but with a sense of humor and always a smile. Great tour, with Blue Lagoon, as the highlight- or you could say Olí certainly a highlight.
- Nomad296310412030010/10Great tour, couldn’t recommend it enough. Our tour guide Addi was amazing, super knowledgable and friendly. I think the whole day is really well planned out with just the right amount of time at each stop.
- Alicia H00Amazing experience! This tour was amazing! They take you to all the places listed and give you enough time to enjoy. I recommend this tour if you go to Iceland for the first time.
- Andrew G00An absolutely awe inspiring waterfall and a relaxing geothermal pool to end.. Perfect!'Ingo' was a super chilled guide and very knowledgeable. The sights were breathtaking, unfortunately the weather did dampen spirits slightly but what can you do! Make sure you wear good waterproofs!! Unfortunately we didn't and on the first stop to the thingvellir park we got drenched lol, but we soon dried off on the drive to the geyser. Both these sights were reasonably impressive but the next stop at Gullfoss waterfall was nothing short of incredible, the power and majesty of it was truly breathtaking. Kerid crater was a nice stop off on the way to the Blue Lagoon which lived up to the hype for me. The water was so warm, and every time a new wave of pressured geothermal water was introduced it felt amazing. Plus the complimentary beer while lazing in the warm water definitely helped! We felt invigorated afterwards which continued for the whole next day too. A truly memorable day out.
- Barbara D00Highly Recommended tour of the famous Golden Circle and Blue LagoonGreat tour of the Golden Circle facilitated by our extremely friendly, erudite and perspicacious tour guide, Elias Alfredsson. Whilst quite a long tour (10:00-21:00), it took place in a comfortable sprinter with WIFI and charging ports. Also includes a sojourn to the Blue Lagoon (often not included in other Golden Circle tours).
- Gillian A00Great Golden Circle TourWe enjoyed this tour and especially our guide, Josef, who was informative and funny. The Blue Lagoon was so relaxing. A wonderful experience. Highly recommended!
- Roving4526707753000Fantastic tourSammi was fantastic guide , we were lucky the weather was lovely . Very well planned and the Blue lagoon at the end was perfect for the last stop . I highly recommend this tour .
- Chichi P00Loved itThis was my 1st solo trip, and I made an amazing choice. The tour was beautiful and so much fun. Everything looked like a painting. I felt informed, safe, and very much enjoyed myself. My favorite was the glacier hike. Sitting behind the waterfall just watching and listening was incredible. All of the information in the description was accurate and easy to understand. The guide was great. Highly recommend Iceland as a destination and this tour as well.

- 335christinan00Recommend this tourA great tour covering sights that were all worth a stop. Our guide, T. Thor, was excellent, offering interesting information. Takk takk!
- laurenflaum00The best trip to see the highlightsA completely wonderful day with T.Thor. He was knowledgeable, kind, and timely. We got more than we bargained for and our best day in Iceland. You won’t regret taking this tour!
- Trip47398300Don't hesitate - go!Siggi ("his Majesty") was the perfect guide for this amazing full day tour of the southern coast. From an all Icelandic playlist (with one famous exception) to personal, national and folklore stories, he kept the group engaged during rides between sites and gave us plenty of time to explore in each location. All of the stops were amazing -- this tour may have been the highlight of our trip. Loved it!!!
- Trip47398300Wonderful Day!T. Thor was our guide on this wonderful day trip. He shared lots of history and cultural details that enriched the sites we visited, made suggestions about how to navigate the crowds and the best dishes to try at our stops. He also showed tremendous compassion and support when one of our tour group became ill. One highlight - he made a surprise stop to feed several waiting horses "horse candy" -- a wonderful surprise. Definitely recommended!

Don't get me wrong, the experiences themselves were jaw-droppingly awesome in every way and the entire experience will be remembered forever.
What didn't help was that I spent much of the day feeling angry about how the group we were in were deliberately frightened and 'coerced' into paying an additional ISK1500 (payable to the guide/driver) for crampons. He asked who'd brought any, described how slippery some of the areas were, said what dreadful accidents befall people who don't wear crampons and basically terrified people into 'hiring' sets from him. I noticed that other tour parties with the 'NiceTravel' company had not been 'forced' into wearing crampons so this was probably just this guide's personal racket. I went without and, whilst there were some slippery bits, it was perfectly possible (and safe) to go without.
If you booked a snowmobile trek and were charged extra for a helmet how would you feel? Or a pony trek where the saddle was an additional cost? If crampons are needed, say in advance or include them in the cost; don't terrify punters into an expensive surcharge.

Dear guest, thank your very much for reaching out to us. The experience you describe regarding the crampons should never happen on our tours. The guide had no permission to try to rent out crampons and he has been officially reprimended for this.
We offer our guests crampons for free to use during tours when conditions require this. On behalf of the company, I sincerely apologize for this incident.
Despite this, it is good to hear that you still enjoyed the amazing beauty of the Icelandic nature and the sights visited and we really hope to see you soon here again in Iceland on a tour with us, where you can enjoy the full NICE experience we strive to provide every day for our guests.

From start to finish, the communication and efficiency of Nice Travel was faultless. The tour guide and driver, Thor, was informative, funny and highly competent in both his driving in icy blizzard conditions and keeping the tour and visits to the various sites on time - allowing plenty of time on each of the stops for photos, comfort breaks, food and drink. Although the wind was bitterly cold on this occasion, with frequent snow showers, each of the attractions were exceptional - even the Blue Lagoon which concluded the trip, a surreal experience in wonderfully warm water, whilst snow fell on your head.

If you are not in Iceland for long I strongly recommend this tour. It is a long day but absolutely worth every penny!! It was one of my favourite days and our drive Arnie was hilarious!! Friendly and very knowledgable!!
I would defo recommend taking some snack and water, although you do stop for lunch.
Tbh I was a bit shocked when we had to PT desperately for our blue lagoon entry.. ended up paying £75 pp however I recommend booking ASAP in the hope of getting a better entry price. Other than that it was well worth every penny!!

The whole day was simply breathtaking from beginning to end. We were fortunate to have a boisterous, happy and nicely chatty guide named Christina who was not only a good guide but also an excellent driver. On a day of inclement weather when most tours were cancelled, she adventurously ensured we visited all sites and incredibly on time. Our colleagues were also very cooperative and not once was anyone late to depart on time..

I chose this tour for my actual birthday and it was the right decision. The bus was very clean, Skúli our driver and tour guide was very friendly he gave us so much interesting information about the tour sites and about Iceland history and culture. To say Skúli went above and beyond is an understatement! My phone died in the middle of the tour, he took pictures for us with his own camera and somehow he manage to get a charger from another tour guide. He also got us crampons when we got to a very icy trail. Very patient and funny! Now the tour itself: every single place was stunning! I had plenty of time to take as many videos and pictures as I wished and I got to enjoy the beauty and uniqueness of each one. It was PERFECT!

If you are going to Iceland, you must do this tour. It’s long, but totally worth it! The sights are some of the most beautiful I have seen in the world- exceeded my expectations. The tour itself was also very well organized, transport pick up was very easy and the tour guide gave enough interesting information but also didn’t talk us to death. Once we got to the various stops, we were able to explore, eat, shop or whatever you wanted until the shuttle left for the next stop. There were several stops with lunch options, there was no set time you had to eat. The last stop is the Blue Lagoon which is the only stop I didn’t feel we got enough time, although we were there almost two hours so I’m not sure how the tour would be able to build in more time with the other stops but you still have to pay full price separately to enter the lagoon regardless of how much time is spent there ($75-100/pp). We decided to go back another day we were there to spend more time, but of course had to pay entry again. We did learn while we were there there are other lagoons (the new Sky Lagoon) that are much closer to Reykjavik, if that is where you are staying. Similar pricing for entry but much closer and easier to get to- so you definitely have options if two hours isn’t enough for you. Overall, we had a fantastic time and it was a perfect start to our trip to see a lot of the Iceland beauty.

Great day trip! You get an overview of the diverse beauty of Iceland — tectonic plates, geysers, waterfalls, volcanic craters — ending with the blue lagoon — a must do! Christina was great. Knowledgeable, funny, happy — talked enough but let us relax too!
This excursion has a max capacity around 17. Other groups had the big busses — which to me is more like a “herd” of tourists. I highly recommend this trip. But again, choose one with the blue lagoon. You need to make sure you buy tickets in advance!

So to begin with, one day before our tour we had realised we were actually outside of the pick up zone. I contacted nice travel and they arranged for a small car to pick us up from where we were and take us to the tour bus. Our small car driver aka peter the sexy was hilarious. Very welcoming and funny.
The actual tour itself was just timed perfectly, not rushed but not overstated at any location. The tour guide was very informative and thoughtful.
So at the end I actually left an item on the coach bus, I contacted nice travel the next day and they had kept it at their office and I was able to pick it up. When ever I messaged them they where very quick to respond. I couldn’t recommend them more. 5*

We had a great day with our tour guide Arnie who was good fun, a wealth of knowledge and very accommodating throughout the trip. We got to see the great sites of stunning iceland in the midst of winter.
Be prepared for significant sub zero temperatures and for the more frugal visitor it maybe advisable to bring snacks, however there are adequate rest breaks throughout the day.
The blue lagoon is literally a warm welcome at the end of the day. It really is very relaxing. The cost of admission to the blue lagoon is extra, but oh so worth it.
Overall it's a great day with nice travel.

You have to book the tickets for the Blue Lagoon directly at the site of the Blue Lagoon. Mind that you have to know from the tour company at what time you will arrive to the Blue Lagoon and book your tickets for exactly that time. If the stop at the Blue Lagoon is foreseen in the tour then the bus will wait for you there. At least this is the experience I had

Hi it all depends which hotel or where you’re staying the tour company will advise you of where they pick up. They use some of the bus stops along the route. The company we went with phone you to make sure you know where it is but if you ring them yourself a day before they will give you the information very helpful
