Overview
Enhance your visit to one of Iceland’s most stunning ice caves by traveling in a luxury coach equipped with GPS-enabled, multi-language audio guides. You’ll get a chance to explore the glacier and man-made cave within it on this full-day tour from Reykjavik, and then choose between a visit to a famous waterfall or thermal pool. Plus, convenient pickup and drop-off from your hotel makes a seamless experience.
What to Expect
Get picked up from your central Reykjavik hotel and board a luxury coach equipped with computer tablet audio guides. Your live guide answers any questions you have as you drive out of the capital.

The first stop is Langjokull glacier, the second largest in Iceland. Board a modified glacier vehicle to reach the man-made tunnel and ice cave while you learn about the local impact of global climate change.

Travel deep into the glacier and admire the layers of blue ice. Learn how the glacier was formed and why it’s in perpetual motion.

Return topside and travel to Húsafell for lunch (own expense). Visit a thermal pool in the village, or Hraunfossar, a waterfall that appears to flow from a lava field.

Make the return journey to Reykjavik, and get dropped off at your hotel.

If you are with people who are likely not capable of hiking on the glacier, this is a great tour. Older folks and kids would be able to do this tour. You get to ride in a huge truck previously designed to move missiles up...More

Iceland

It was a very good experience. We had grandmas 82 years old. She enjoyed it as much as we did. I recommended for people to take the tour for the experience.

Ice cave

This was absolutely amazing! One of the best things we did! Dress warm. It's windy up on the glacier.

Into the Glacier - It was so surreal

Would like to say that it was a great adventure and a wonderful trip. Our guide in the cave sang a song for us to hear the acoustic in the ice chapel. We loved the ravens Huginn and Muninn. Walking on and in a glacier...More
