Itinerary
Meet your guide and group at a designated coffee shop in the super-hip district of Vesterbro. Follow your guide on a walking tour through the off-the-beaten-path areas of Copenhagen that help define its modern culture. At each stop, learn about its history and the role it plays in underground culture.

Visit a local homeless shelter to see the revolutionary way the city handles homelessness. Stop by the New Theatre to learn about the arts and culture scene and walk along the museum street of Absalonsgade. Swing by the historic Eliaskirken, which serves as a talking point for the evolution of the Christian religion in Denmark. Learn about the the city’s red- and green-light districts, and finish up in the self-declared Free State of Christiana. You'll walk away from the tour with a firm grasp on Copenhagen's vibrant counterculture and some ideas about where to explore further.

Unique view of Copenhagen

Martin, our guide was great! He’s a local so he knows what he is talking about and he kept it very interesting, real and humorous. He also has a lot of respect for his community and fellow Danes.

Best Tourguide

We had Bryony as our Tourguide, she was awesome, funny and informative. Because we were a small group of people, she asked us what topics we want to hear more about on our tour. 10/10 ;)

Different eyes

This tour was definitely worth it. Be sure to catch Bryony for the tour guide as she delves right into the nitty gritty of the darker sides of innocent buildings!
