Copenhagen Canal Tour
Enjoy views of Copenhagen from on board a boat navigating the city's famous canals. Learn about the city's highlights through a guide's commentary as you travel, gleaning little-known facts about the Danish capital. Highlights include Christianshavn, Copenhagen Opera House, the famous Little Mermaid Statue, and Amalienborg Palace.
What to Expect

Book your preferred departure time. Cruises leave throughout the day, making it easy to fit this tour into your schedule.

Step aboard, sit on the deck or inside the saloon, and then relax and enjoy the ride. Traveling the canals allows you to cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time and get different views and photo angles than you would if traveling by land. You’ll pass must-see highlights, such as Amalienborg Palace, Copenhagen Opera House, the cobblestone-paved Christianshavn neighborhood, the island of Slotsholmen, the Old Stock Exchange, and the spires of the Church of Our Savior. As you travel, listen to engaging commentary from the guide, covering topics from ancient history to modern culture; walk away with knowledge and little-known facts that you otherwise would not be privy to.

Customize the end of your tour by choosing drop-off in either Gammel Strand or Nyhavn.

Nice View

Please overview of the canal and the buildings and neighborhoods. The boat is spacious and comfortable. The guide was knowledgeable and funny. You got to see both modern and historic buildings. Nice way to spend an hour.

Its ok

Depending on the time, you will be waiting in a long line. The speaker was super talented. He spoke in English, Danish, German, and French. The cruise was ok, I enjoy walking around the city instead.

Great experience

A wonderful way to spend the afternoon after arriving on an international flight. The less walking the better. Great sunny day with nice narration. Would take another ride any other visit I get.

Trip is included with card, but you must get a ticket at Ved Strand and stay on at the Nyhavn stop for the rest of the tour. No booking necessary. If you get on at Nyhavn, you'll have to pay. Copenhagen Card saved us a lot... More
