Sailing Catamaran Cruise in Santorini with BBQ and Drinks
From US$109.38
Overview
Santorini’s sandy beaches, volcanic islands, and white-washed villages are best viewed from the water. On this cruise, set sail along the west coast, explore the nearby islands of Thirassia and Aspronisi, swim and snorkel at the White and Red beaches, and fuel up with an included barbecue lunch. Hotel pickup and drop-off make for a hassle-free trip, especially considering this trip includes unlimited drinks.
What to Expect
After hotel pickup and a short transfer to the port of Amoudi or Athinios, board your catamaran and set sail along Santorini’s west coast. Marvel at the dramatic landscapes as you cruise beneath the caldera cliffs and look out across the ancient volcano. Make a stop at the hot springs, where you can bathe in the warm waters or opt to take a mineral-rich mud bath.
Back on the boat, glide around the ‘White Island’ of Aspronisi and listen as your guide points out landmarks including the Akrotiri lighthouse and Indian Face rock. Drop anchor at the White Beach, where you can dive in to swim and snorkel in the turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea.
After working up an appetite, dig into an included barbecue lunch on-board and sip Greek wine from the open bar. Make a final stop for more snorkeling at the Red Beach, then enjoy views of Thirassia Island on the way back to the port. Your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel.

Highlight of the trip

My only complaint that is was a two hour wait from the time we were picked up in kamari to the time we boarded the boat. A lot of sitting around the dock and waiting made me wish we had brought snacks and a drink....More

The ocean is not very hot even in July... I wasn’t there in October so I couldn’t say that... But I’d try it in October too!😉
