Great knowledgeable staff for the walking tour and the bus tour. They were extremely helpful in answering any questions regarding the ruins and where to visit. Enjoyed the drive out to Temple of Poseidon comfortable bus and great scenery on coastline.

He had wonderful guides For each tour that we took. There was only one young man who failed to collect us and put us on our bus, even though we were there and we told them what we were waiting for. He told us it was another bus. Ater 10 minutes we called trip masters and they suggested to jump into a cab so that we wouldn't miss our boat for our day cruise. But the tour guides were awsome and kept track of us very well once we were on the boat. The acropolis tour went without a hitch.

A Must Do!!!
Aug 2019 • Friends
I went to Athens with my sister in August and planned this tour with the reasons of it hit all the major landmarks and also got out of the main city as well. This ended up being an AMAZING tour!! When we met at the meeting spot, one helper offered for us to buy the Acropolis tickets with her instead of waiting in line which was a great time saver! Our tour guide Ava was amazinggg. He gave so much insight and information on each place we visited without being too overbearing. After we broke for lunch we met at the same meeting spot and a new tour guide joined us on the bus ride. The views of the ocean we beautiful the whole ride down. My suggestion is to sit on the right side of the bus(when walking into the bus it would be your left side). The right side has all the views that make your bus trip fly by. On the bus ride our guide told us mythological stories of the sight to pass the time. Once we arrived we all stopped to use the restroom and then our guide bought us all our tickets for the Temple of Poseidon. She gave us information on the whole sight with stories and then let us have 30min to see the sight by ourselves. There’s a little coffee shop near by we sat at after as we waited for the departure time. Over all I would highly recommend this whole tour. Money very well spent. I would not have been able to get as much out of seeing the sights if I did’t have this tour.

Adequetly covers both tours

The Athens walking tour was quite adequte. The walk through Plakka up to the Acropolis was great as I learnt a new shortcut around the plakka area which was very handy for later exploring. The Acropolis of course, was hot and crowded by they included just enough information and a medium long tour to feel that it was covered and you got interesting facts and info without being overloaded. The second half of the tour was a couple of hours later. This was slightly annoying as we didn't actually go at sunset so not sure why we had to wait for all tha time between. I was very glad I did this tour though. The drive along the coast through the beach suburbs of Athens was fascinating and would be a good thing to do all by itself ( there are buses that travel up and dpown this route(local) and it is very cheap to do). The temple stands in a beautiful position and I enjoyed seeing it. many buses arrive at once and although I admire the guides skill she does the tour in three languages. it becomes very tiring after a while though ( due to the constant changing of languages) and I tuned out. Took some spectacular photos here though. The drive back to Arthens is long in the afternoon traffic. All in all I would do this tour again if I had a second chance. there was enough in it to make it worthwhile.

Hello from Chat Tours, Thank you for your review. We would like to clarify some points of your review. Firstly , you have booked a full-day tour of Athens . It is necessary to include one hour free time for lunch in between the two particular tours for all of our customers . We do not arrange this break in order to delay your visit to the archaeological site of Temple of Poseidon. Our tour does include the sunset as clearly written at the description of the product and the inclusions at your prepaid vouchers. Secondly , our tours are only in English and French . We do not organize tours in other languages so it is impossible to have a guide speaking in three different languages as you mentioned. Last but not least , we are glad to learn that even if it was a long hot day , you enjoyed both of the tours. We hope to see you again in Athens and offer you once again our high-quality services. Always at your disposal, Angelina Skyla.

Great little tour
May 2019 • Couples
We were very pleased with both parts of this tour...the changing of the guard and the Acropolis were the highlights of the morning...tour guide was very friendly & knowledgeable...in the afternoon the trip out to the Temple of Poseidon was great fun with our new tour guide Efty...who was awesome with her stories on the bus and at the site...we took a lot of tours on this vacation in Rome & Athens and Efty was easily one of our favorite guides that we had...the Temple itself is extremely well preserved and the country side is beautiful...highly recommended

One of the best tours in Athens
Jul 2018
I did this tour with a friend and my elderly mother in the summer of 2015. Our hotel was around the corner from the meeting location and both tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. (My mother skipped the walking tour, but did Cape Sounion and Temple of Poseidon.
The walking tour was fairly easy, the walk up to Acropolis was a little more strenuous and was glad my mother did not partake in that part. The bus trip to Cape Sounion was breathtakingly beautiful. I would recommend this tour to anyone on a short timeline in Athens. In fact, I am planning on taking my husband to Athens for his first visit this summer (2019) and this tour is already planned for our long weekend in Greece.

Ancient Athens requires you to bring your present day sunscreen
The ruins of ancient Athens Acropolis are for sure beautiful, but there isn’t any shade from the elements and lots of walking so bring a sunhat, sunscreen and bottle of water for this experience - some binoculars would be nice as well.

You could pay for an official tour, but I didn’t; there were a couple of times that I eavesdropped on the tour guides to find out interesting facts about the significance of the grounds but mostly I just walked around and read the posted plaques, marveled at the vibrant blues of the Mediterranean and pondered how buildings so old could have foundations so sturdy.

It is beautiful and mysterious place with breathtaking views, clear skies and very worthy of an afternoon visit. I imagine that sunsets would be awesome from here too.

Great Experience but lots of walking
Jun 2018
Doing this walking tour in the summer can be a little difficult. I recommend easy arrival to avoid the crowds. The experience is incredible so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and be prepare to walk a lot mostly up and incline until you get to the top. Be careful with the slippery marble on certain parts of the terrain especially on the top. Highly recommended!!!!

Best tour with nice lunch
I'll start off with a big shout out to Catarina our guide it's a long day but we'll worth it the Acropolis was breath taking although the weather this day wasn't the best we made the most of it and toured right the way around what a magnificent structure, the museum was amazing with our guide Catarina being very informative and happy to answer any of your questions with a bit of free time to do you own thing at the end then lunch at the Arcadia was lovely with a nice set menu selection with small portions of a variety of Greek specialities then a short walk back to the tour guide centre where you get ready for the next adventure to Poseidon's temple it's a bit of a drive but along a lovely coastline which makes for some great photos Poseidon's temple is lovely not as impressive as the Acropolis but definitely worth the trip. We asked to be dropped back at the restaurant precinct we had lunch at for some cheap but very tasty take home gyros and it was the perfect ending to a spectacular day
