About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- leopold250 contributionsScenic riverside rideA good ride along the riverside to get a different perspective of Lisbon. Our guide was Pedro Vinicius and he took good care of our group especially when the chain came off my bike! He was knowledgeable about the history of Portugal and the connections to Brazil - his enthusiasm rubbed off on us all. A great trip, not as scary as riding through the city, so time to enjoy the scenery and take it all in.Written 5 October 2024
- SusanE27630 contributionsDon’t choose cruiser ebike even though it looks coolGuide was informative but overall, this tour was not good value for money, bikes need servicing, dangerously busy routes, food was nothing special. Just walk!Written 29 September 2024
- 600FrankC660 contributionsDown By the RiverOur tour began inThe Praça do Comércio. Our guide Pedro allowed us to get familiar with our e-bikes before starting the tour and a test drive if we needed one. He made sure we were all comfortable with our bikes. Pedro began with great history of Lisbon there. Next we headed along the river, stopping in a few spots with a little more history until we reached the Monument of Discoveries, which was impressive. There we had a short break with a coffee and a tasty pastel de nata. We then moved on to Belém Tower, for a little more history and then the return cycle to the home base. Pedro did a great job making sure we were all together and his presentation of history along the tour made the scenes come alive and explain how Lisbon came to be. The operation of the e-bike makes the ride so easy once you get the hang of it. I cycle but had not used and e-bike previously. They're not hard to figure out and really help. The tour is a great way to see more of Lisbon than you may have planned on. Great Job Pedro!Written 26 September 2024
- JG000710 contributionsGreat way to see the City coast.Great tour by Anthony. He really knew his stuff. He went at a great pace and endured we were comfortable on Segway. Highly recommend. Would do it again.Written 23 September 2024
- 254sanderc0 contributionsExcellent tour even for Segway beginnersExcellent tour! Having never ridden a Segway before the guide, Julie, was helpful in getting acquainted with using it, and tailored the tour to how well I was managing. We saw a lot of sights in the old town of Lisbon with stops for great views and picture opportunities for landmarks. Saw parts of Alfama you would never go as a tourist walking or taking public transport, and the guide had interesting stories and couleur local that gave you a better sense of historic LisbonWritten 22 September 2024
- michaelmueller19550 contributionsOur trip with Kevin through LisbonWe really enjoyed the city tour with our guide Kevin in a tuk-tuk. The way Kevin presented the city was absolutely great.Written 4 September 2024
- Pourquoipas60210 contributionsA great way to discover LisbonI actually could not do this tour as I was the only one who had booked it. So instead they offered me to join the city tour. I really enjoyed it. We were a small group, six including our guide Sophia. Sophia was most charming and made the tour light and fun. Her explanations were very good, informative but delivered with humour. The bikes are amazing. Large tyres for the cobble stones and enough power to go up the hills easily. There is one climb that got us puffing a bit, but the rest was easy. I recommend the fresh lemonade at the Miradouro da Senhora do Monte, the highest point in Lisbon.Written 28 August 2024
- I3205WAryanc0 contributionsGreat fun for the familyAmazing way to tour Portugal. Tony was a fun and knowledgeable tour guide who knew everything. The whole family loved the segways.Written 15 August 2024

- JaneA6220 contributionsA great safe tour!A brilliant tour with Pedro Vinicius! Super knowledgeable and careful and considerate with my wife who is not such a confident cyclist but felt reassured under his guidance and support. All the way to Belem, pastries at the end and some great sightseeing on the way. At the quiet areas managed to get some decent speed up as well!Written 9 July 2024

Our guide Margarida, was excellent. She provided very informative accounts at all of our stops and patiently answered everyone's queries. She was very attentive to make sure that everyone was comfortable with bike equipment and that the group was keeping together. The motor was invaluable to reach top of slopes effortlessly. It was a great way to pass through the narrow streets of Lisbon and cover a lot of ground in a short space of time. Highly recommend.

This tour was great. The views were excellent and the guide, Peter, was too. I highly recommend going through the old city with a guide due to how hilly and twisty it is. I want to go back with my partner when we can.

We took the electric bike tour on one of our last days in Lisbon. Peter was our tour guide and him and the tour was AMAZING! We had such a great time riding through the city with the great assistance of the electric bike (definitely a must for all the hills). We made stops and were able to take pictures at the viewpoints. This tour would be appropriate for most adults. I had not been on a bike in 3 years but I had no issues keeping up and there were no crashes. Peter was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Lisbon and had great stories to tell. He also recommended a movie to watch (it is on our list) that highlights a bit of the history of Portugal. The tour made me appreciate Portugal and its history so much more. I highly recommend this bike tour at the beginning of your trip in Lisbon and ask for Peter!! We didn't have a chance to visit any other places in Portugal but we will definitely be taking a bike tour when we return and visit Porto.

Peter was a great tour guide for our group of 10 (work team event) and made the trip informative and fun. Learnt what T.E.A really stands for! First time too riding e-bikes - they are easy to use and made light work of Lisbon's hills. Views were fantastic. Would recommend

Terrific, friendly, informative leadership by our guide, Nani.
After a brief lesson and practice on the ebikes, we went down to the main port square for an intro to the city sites, it's culture, and history. Nani then led us first along the river shore and then up along winding streets into the old city, gathering us for brief talks and to answer questions about what we were seeing. Ranging from famous Lisbon music sites to medieval churches, to breathtakingly beautiful hilltop vistas. (Where we stopped for a little something to fortify ourselves :) .
One of the best travel experiences we've ever had.

Did a private e-bike tour around Lisbon with my husband and 13 year old son. Worth every penny! Thomas made sure we felt safe on the bikes, was extremely knowledgeable about Lisbon and world history, and answered all our questions. I am so glad we booked this tour and upgrading for a private experience was worth the money as well. I suggest taking this trip your first full day in Lisbon, so you can see the major sights in the city.

Our terrific guide Peter took us to a journey through history of Lisboa and Portugal with colourful stories about people and places and remarkable events in the past. Relaxed riding up and down the hills on a comfortable e-bike was really nice, a very good way to spend a Saturday afternoon. You can walk the city on your own but with a top guide like Peter, you get a good picture of the history and how the city became what it is today.
I highly recommend this tour.

booked this electric bike tour of Lisbon at the last minute and couldn’t have been more delighted. Lisbon is a very hilly city so the electric bikes meant we could cover large parts of the city with ease. The real highlight was our tour guide Peter from the company Boost. He is a jolly English/Portuguese passionate historian. Lisbon is full of history dating back to the Romans. Peter took us to sights we may not have seen with larger groups and gave us time to absorb every site. An absolute highlight of our trip!

Peter was absolutely amazing. It was pouring rain and everyone had cancelled except me and my partner so it ended up being a private tour. Peter took the time to ensure we really knew how our bikes worked. He managed to tie the whole history of Portugal and the history of Lisbon into the sites we saw. Riding an ebike in the rain on the slippery roads of Lisbon ended up being kind of dangerous and all three of us fell at some point but Peter was incredibly careful and caring in ensuring we were okay. He also gave us ponchos to help with the wetness and took us to different covered spots around the city. The bikes were absolutely fantastic and made climbing the hills no effort at all. Thank you Peter!

LOVED this e-bike tour! It was so fun, and the tour was very well planned out and we learned so much about Lisbon’s rich history. I highly recommend this tour—Lisbon has so many steep hills, we never would have been able to fully see and enjoy the beautiful Alfama neighborhood without this tour and on an e-bike! The bikes and helmets were all in very good condition, our guide took us to a flat open area first to get used to our bikes and the controls, and he was very informative throughout and made sure to tell us ahead of time when to move to electric, when to up our gears, the conditions of the upcoming roads, etc. He was also hilarious and was a fantastic storyteller. Would definitely do this tour again, and now I want to buy an e-bike!
