Small-Group Tuscany Grand Tour: Siena, San Gimignano, Chianti, Pisa, and Lucca
US$222.72
Overview
If you only have one day to discover Tuscany, this tour squeezes in as many must-see sights as possible, while maintaining a small group size to ensure a personalized experience. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Siena, medieval San Gimignano, and the Renaissance town of Lucca; see the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa; and enjoy a wine-tasting lunch in the Chianti wine region.
What to Expect
After pickup from central Florence, journey to Siena by air-conditioned minivan. On arrival, follow your guide on a walking tour of the town’s UNESCO-listed historic center, admiring sights such as the Piazza del Campo, the location of the legendary Palio horse races. Continue to San Gimignano, where you have some free time to explore, admire the views, and sample some delicious homemade gelato.

Stop at a winery in the Chianti wine region and tuck into typical Tuscan lunch (included), followed by a tasting of regional wines. Afterward, tour the winery and vineyards to learn more about the winemaking process. Then, set out for Lucca, renowned for its Renaissance-era churches and city walls. Finally, stop by the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa.

After a busy full-day tour, return to Florence, where you will be dropped back at the departure point.

Wonderful day

We had 6 in our group from 3 different countries and Luciana was our excellent guide, knowledgeable and entertaining. A full day but just beautiful towns and countryside with enough time to explore on our own in Pisa and San Gimignano. Thoroughly recommend this tour.
