Overview

Escape to the Tuscan countryside on this full-day tour from Florence. Don’t worry about the logistics of organizing a countryside tour: just sit back and enjoy round-trip transit in an air-conditioned coach or minivan to the sights. Visit the medieval town of San Gimignano, a UNESCO World Heritage Site; enjoy a lunchtime vineyard visit and wine tasting in Chianti; journey to Siena; and see the historic walled town of Monteriggioni.

What to Expect

Meet at Florence’s Stazione Leopolda, climb aboard your air-conditioned minivan or coach, and set off for the countryside. This full-day Tuscany tour makes it easy to see the region’s most popular attractions.

The day’s first stop is San Gimignano, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This medieval walled town’s 14 soaring towers are visible from miles away. Enjoy leisure time to explore its squares, palaces, and churches.

Your next stop is a local winery in the heart of Chianti. Explore its cellars and vineyards before a tutored tasting. Pair your glasses with an indulgent Tuscan lunch of pasta, cheese, charcuterie, and pastries.

In the afternoon, journey next to Siena, where your guide leads you on a tour of sites such as Piazza del Campo and Siena Cathedral. Your final stop on the tour is Monteriggioni, a medieval walled town.

The tour concludes at your original departure point in Florence.
