Overview

The lines for popular Florence attractions are notoriously long year-round. You won’t waste a second of your vacation on this walking tour, which includes skip-the-line entry to Accademia Gallery, home to Michelangelo's David. As well as bypassing the often hours-long queue, you’ll take a guided walking tour that covers the Uffizi Gallery, Brunelleschi’s Dome (Duomo), Ponte Vecchio, and more. This tour is a great way to get oriented upon arrival in the Tuscan capital.

What to Expect

Meet your guide and group of no more than 25 at San Marco Square (Piazza San Marco) for your walking tour of Florence.

From there, you’ll head to Accademia Gallery, where you’ll bypass long lines and head inside to admire Michelangelo's iconic David sculpture.

Upon leaving Accademia Gallery, you’ll continue your walk through the city, with your guide bringing Renaissance architecture and history to life.

Gaze at Brunelleschi’s Dome (Duomo), undoubtedly the most famous structure on the Florentine skyline, and Giotto’s Bell Tower. Stroll through the medieval Palazzo Vecchio and see the exterior of the Church of Orsanmichele and the Uffizi Gallery.

The tour concludes facing the Ponte Vecchio bridge.

Lovely tour!

This tour was perfect, it was 3 hrs long (not bad) and we got to see the Accademia Gallery where all the casts were displayed for many famous statues. I was awestruck at the statue of David, and the Duomo was incredible to look at!...More

Dear Darin S, First of all, allow me to thank you for taking the time to write this review and bringing your concerns to our attention. The Duomo has recently implemented a new security system with metal detectors which would allow for a better control...More

No Duomo interior!

Melania was an excellent guide, but the tour did not provide “skip the line” access to the Duomo, as advertised. We got only an exterior tour of the cathedral, which was very disappointing.

Great orientation to Florence

Met Patricia our guide in the Piazza di San Marco at 8.20am. There are plenty of places to get a quick croissant and sandwich beforehand. Patricia was excellent, a very knowledgeable guide with a real enthusiasm that came through. The earpieces were excellent, worked very...More

We can’t remember her name, but the tour guide we had yesterday was wonderful! She was so knowledgeable about everything she showed us, and we could tell she has a deep love for Florence and Michaelangelo. She made our experience seeing the David for the...More
