Overview
Book ahead to reserve your spot on this The Last Supper guided tour in Milan, limited to a group of 15 people to ensure an intimate atmosphere. Booking in advance means you'll avoid the long lines outside of the UNESCO-listed Santa Maria delle Grazie, while guide commentary—heard clearly through provided headsets—reveals little-known information you may have missed if exploring alone.
What to Expect
Meet for this The Last Supper tour at the Piazza Santa Maria delle Grazie near the entrance to the painting’s exhibit. Your group gets to go inside the church right away and skip any of the chaos at the church’s entrance. If you need them, you can use headsets to hear your guide clearly. Your group is limited to 15 people for an intimate atmosphere.

Once inside The Last Supper exhibit, first get 15 minutes to study and view the painting on your own. Afterward, you can ask your guide any questions you might have about the painting. Your guide is an art historian, with a plethora of knowledge to share. Learn about the unique artistic techniques da Vinci used to create this masterpiece.

Next up, explore the church, its grounds, and its gardens with your guide. Hear stories about how this area of Milan was used over the years.

Your guided tour ends at the church.

Im not sure if they would need a ticket. He wouldn't be able to take a bottle in and if he is cranky it will totally take away from the experience for everyone. It has a shrine type of feel.
