Cinque Terre Boat Tour with Wine and Food
US$226.08
Overview
Explore the remote Cinque Terre region and visit four of its fishing villages the best way: by boat. The daylong cruise from La Spezia also includes a stop in Portovenere (Porto Venere), a seafood lunch, and ample time to swim and sightsee in each spot. More relaxing than hiking and more scenic than the train route, this experience offers the best way to see the coast with travel organized in advance.
What to Expect
Board your boat at Porto Mirabello in La Spezia and then cruise out to Portovenere for an hourlong stop. From here, you’ll cruise north for your first glimpse of the UNESCO-listed Cinque Terre at Riomaggiore, where craggy cliffs frame colorful houses that step down to the sea; it’s a sight typical of the region.

Continue past cliff-top Corniglia to Manarola for an onboard seafood lunch and then use some free time to visit the village or take a cool-down dip or snorkel in the sea. Back aboard, you’ll cruise further along the coast to Vernazza and then onward to Monterosso al Mare.

After the final stop in Riomaggiore, the cruise returns to La Spezia. Relax with an Aperol spritz or soft drink as the sun sinks lower in the sky. Then bid the crew goodbye as you dock back at the starting point.

We initially booked the full-day Cinque Terre sailing tour, however, due to bad sea conditions, this got cancelled. As it was our honeymoon, Maria and Nicola didn’t want to disappoint, so suggested an alternative experience sailing around the Gulf of Poets (where we were staying...More
