Being one of the largest and most important museums in the world, in some periods of the year the wait for admission is very long, taking away precious time. With the guided tour of Maya Tours this will no longer be a problem, since we always guarantee direct access to the Museums and a privileged and exclusive access to St. Peter’s Basilica.

The route is planned in detail and aims to show you the most important collections, such as the various Galleries (of the Candelabras, of the Tapestries, of the Geographical Maps), the treasures of the Popes, the Greek, Roman and Renaissance sculptures (such as the Laocoon and the Apollo of the Belvedere), the picture gallery, medieval and contemporary artists.

From the Sistine Chapel you will enter the Basilica of San Pietro from a special entrance, reserved exclusively for authorized guides and their groups.

If you are interested in discovering the beauties of the Vatican in a detailed and in-depth way, choose the guided tour with Maya Tours.
  • Don’t get overwhelmed by the vast collection: Go straight to the highlights
  • Opt for an art historian guide to get a quick, in-depth tour
  • Save precious vacation time with skip-the-line admission
  • Opt for an audio headset to hear your guide clearly
What to Expect
Make your way to the Maya Tours office on via Germanico, where you’ll meet your guide. From here, take a 5-minute walk to the entrance of the Vatican Museums. With this tour, you’ll gain priority admission to the Vatican Museums and have the option of exploring with an art historian guide. Visit can’t-miss highlights like the Sistine Chapel while making about eight other stops at locations including the Gallery of the Muses, Raphael Rooms, and Gallery of the Maps. It’s a great way to orient yourself and see some of the Vatican’s top highlights in a matter of a few hours. After making your way through the galleries, make your last stop at St. Peter’s Basilica. Take advantage of direct entry into the basilica, explore on your own, and finish the tour here.
