Hear about its wine heritage on a walking tour, seeing highlights such as the clock tower, cathedral, and town walls. Next, venture into the area around Montalcino. Visit Sant’Antimo Abbey and gaze across the vineyards as you hear how their grapes are used in Brunello di Montepulciano wine. Head to a farm and enjoy a glass of Brunello with a 3-course lunch. Best Colosseum tour!
Fantastic guide in a small group setting (our tour was only 2 families and a total of 6 people). Guide was very knowledgeable and efficient.

      A Great Experience!
It was a long day but totally worth it not just because of where we were going but also because of our tour guide Angelina Militello and the coach driver. With an early morning start, the City Wonders coordinator was there to organize everyone into groups depending on the tour they were taking. Once in the bus, a 2 hour drive to Pompeii with a bathroom/coffee stop on the way. Angelina was very knowledgeable, communicative, entertaining, enthusiastic, we could not have asked for a better guide . Even though it was a tour for English speakers, her knowledge of several languages including Spanish helped some of the participants in better understanding what she was explaining. Once we arrived in Poompeii, Angelina handed our group over to Mauro, the Pompeii expert, for this part of the tour. He too was great, very knowledgeable, engaging and funny at times. This part lasted 1 1/2 hrs. From here our tour continued southbound towards the Amalfi coast with its breath taking views with a stop at a Limoncello manufacturer for a tasting and then on to the beautiful town of Positano for our late lunch. All the while Angelina was explaining the history and telling us stories of the area. Our return to Rome took longer, around 4 hrs as a result of having gone further south to visit the Amalfi coast and town. I highly recommend this tour, my family and I were amazed, delighted with the sites, the history and the cultural aspect of this journey. Yes it's a long tour but as long as you are mentally prepared, wear comfortable clothes and shoes, bring along a bottle of water (although there are plenty of opportunities to buy bottles along the way) you will not regret it! Thank you Angelina and coach driver for a memorable day!

      Best Tour in Rome
Excellent Tour. The Guide, Devine was outstanding. He did an excellent job of the explanation and tour of the underground. Gave a very detailed review and everyone on the tour loved it. We had a number of young adults with us( 13- 14 year old) who loved it

First time Rome and visiting the Colosseum. The tour guide was awesome and very knowledgeable. It was nice skipping the lines and getting inside really quick. You won't be disappointed and glad you went with tour company. Would definitely recommend them.

      Excellent tour and excellent guide
The tour was wonderful. It departed on time and all the information was conveyed through individual headsets which really helps in a busy place such as the Colosseum. Our guide Nico was absolutely fantastic. He was calm and made sure everyone could remain with the group. He was very knowledgeable and the information was well timed and the delivery well paced. He brought the places we visited to life and his knowledge was very impressive. Thank you Nico

      Great day!
We booked a day trip to Pompeii as part of our stay in Rome. We met the guides in Piazza Del Popolo on the morning of the trip and was allocated to Laura’s group. Laura was so friendly, knowledgeable and good humoured and kept us all entertained during the drive to Pompeii. We made a short stop along the way to use toilets and grab a drink/ snack. We were split into 2 groups and allocated a new guide for Pompeii itself- our guide being Giancarla. The 2 hour walk around the city was so interesting and definitely sped past. Of course you cannot see everything in that time but having a guide to explain what you were seeing was invaluable. A great experience. Laura arranged a takeaway pizza lunch for those of us who were interested (€15 each) from a local restaurant which we ate back on the coach on our way to Positano. Laura continued to explain what we were seeing along the drive but also gave us time to rest as the round trip is a long day- approximately 13 hours. Our driver for the day was Giovanni who was great, especially on the winding coastal roads leading to Positano. The coach can only get so far before you have to switch onto a smaller mini van for the final descent down to Positano and ascent back up afterwards (all arranged by City Wonders). We had about 1.5 hours in Positano to look around ourselves before we needed to be back on the coach for the drive back. It was a long but thoroughly enjoyable day, seeing much more of the country than we would have otherwise and learning so much along the way. Would definitely recommend this tour to others.

      Stay at Amalfi Longer
Amazing trip overall! The Pompeii guide, Enrique, was especially entertaining and knowledgeable. I would recommend staying at the Amalfi Coast as long as possible. This tour offers a good appetizer of each site but trust me—you want the meal!

You can’t miss this tour while in Rome! These are some of the most beautiful sites I saw in my life and the price is worth it for “skip the line” alone.

      Excellent Vatican Tour
We booked this through Get Your Guide and I am so glad we ended up with this tour company and our guide Laura was one of the best guides we have ever had. Totally worth it to pay more to "skip the line" and to have such a knowledgeable guide. Highly recommend it.

Another side of Rome that you need to experience
Vanessa provided a great experience with plenty of knowledge. This tour was outstanding and showed a side of Rome that isn't your typical "ruins and buildings." Definitely check this one out.

Worth the price alone just to skip the line!
Great experience and great guide (unfortunately I forgot her name but it started with a G!). Made sure we saw the important items in the museum, gave plenty of great preamble before the Sistine chapel (since it's silencio in there) and was overall a pleasure!

This tour was a little misleading. A lot of the people on the tour thought it would be more of a wine tour. Some spots that we saw were unnecessary stops and the stop we wanted to actually stop at we couldn’t shop or drink wine(the town was most famous for shopping and their wine). I was actually super disappointed and the bus also was very small and people were cramped in. The tour guide was amazing. If you are looking for a wine tour this is not it.

Truly amazing experience…our tour guide Peter was an encyclopedia of food, culture and historical knowledge with a touch of humor thrown in to keep us smiling.
The ONLY negative is that 2 out of the 4 stops required you to pay to use the toilette and they accept Euro coins only. 50 cent in Euros per person so plan on bringing at least 2 dollars in change in Euro coins.

The bus was comfortable, the guides friendly and knowledgeable, the places we drove by beautiful, BUT we spent more than 6 hours in a bus, 1 hour in bathroom breaks, and very little time in places. For example it is advertised as 2 hours in a Temple of sn Biagio- we only spent 15 min, just enough to take picture. You advertise 60 min in Pienza historic center and 60 min in Pienza town, we only had 40 min. In Montepulciano, which is a beautiful town we follow a guide at a fast pace and then we were given 15 min of free time, that ended up being 25 because some people got lost…….
With regards to the meal, service was friendly, food was below ok and wine was really bad… we were served 5 different type of wines. We didnt drink the first one as it smelled as rubbing alcohol, and when they brought the second wine, instead of pouring it in a new cup they added it to previous one…. At the end all the wines combined added to 1 cup of wine. So value of this meal wasnt worth it. We ended up getting a nice wine in Pienza for less than 10$.

AVOID this company at all costs, this was the worst tour experience I have ever had! The tour guide, Marianna, left myself and eight other people stranded in Montepulciano including four elderly women. NINE people out of 47 total people were left behind because the tour guide Marianna provided an incorrect time to meet for the bus. She told four separate groups (the ones who were stranded with us) to be back at the meeting point in 10 minutes. We asked for a time and Marianna said “Ten minutes, enough time for apertivo” so we set a timer and were back in 8 minutes (two minutes to spare) to an empty meeting point. Marianna failed to confirm that everyone in the group was there before leaving the meeting point early. We spent around 30 minutes speaking to their customer support (not an easy number to find) and they yelled at us for them leaving us before the scheduled departure time and then told us they would not drive five minutes to pick us up. We then had to figure out how to get a taxi in a small town, to help all nine people left behind get back to the bus. When we made it back to the group, Marianna proceeded to tell three different stories about why we were left behind and none of them were accurate. She explained she went back and looked for us and we spoke with other members on the bus who said she stood at the bus that was not parked at the meeting point and did no such thing as to go back to the meeting point and attempt to find us. They also let us know that she did not count off the people to confirm that everyone was there. Mariana proceeded to tell us it was our fault that she left the meeting point early and 37 other people were there. Marianna left 1/5 or 20% of her group behind and the company made absolutely no effort to assist us in getting back with the group. After this, they finally started counting to confirm the entire group was there and after the last stop, still missed calling our name after confirming we were on the list earlier that day. Avoid this company like the plague because their customer support and tour operators are not here to ensure you have a safe or enjoyable experience.

Please continue to work with us as we process this for you. We wholeheartedly apologize for the experience you were forced to endure. Please know that this tour guide's behavior is nowhere near the standard we have set for ourselves at City Wonders. Thank you for your time, cooperation and feedback. Our wonderful tour guide Enrica lead is through a wonderful day exploring Tuscany with visits to two ancient towns and a great homemade lunch with some shopping opportunities (we found some great clothes in Montepulciano). Enrica's very entertaining and helpful explanations and deft handling of the logistics- and Andrea's good driving - made for a comfortable and rich experience! Note that the packaged food for sale at the restaurant is a bit overpriced from what I observed, but the included meal and wine were delicious and genuine. So glad we booked this trip!

This trip was outstanding. Our guide, Emiliano, was not only extremely knowledgeable, but had such a wonderful personality and made the trip engaging with his humor! This was not my first trip to Italy; but my first trip to Tuscany.. We fell in love with this region of Italy! Emiliano was warm and truly wanted to ensure that not only did we enjoy this experience, but offered recommendations for our experiences in Positano, Venice and Rome as well.

The only thing I would recommend the tour change is to allow for more time in the town of Montepulciano. The town was like out of a scene from a movie but our time there was too limited. Many of us wanted to shop in the cute stores but there just wasn't time. The 3-course lunch and wine tasting was a lot of fun and the food delicious. I would also cut out the stop at Sant’Antimo Abbey as the church charged if you desired to go in and look around. Shame on the church! I was underwhelmed with UNESCO-listed Pienza. and would have preferred that time be spent in Montepulciano. Nonetheless, Emeliano made the trip wonderful and I highly recommend.

This trip was excellent, thanks to Emiliano (our guide) and our driver (Andrea). Emiliano is greatly knowledgeable and is readily available to share interesting historical facts (as well as restaurant recommendations). We also want to thank our second guide, also named Andrea, in the town of Montepulciano.

Emiliano kept us on time, but we never felt rushed. We were surprised we got to make as many stops as we did to enjoy smaller towns in the Tuscan region. We were a family of 7, and Emiliano made sure we sat together during the lunch and wine tasting portion - a subtle yet significant consideration that was greatly appreciated!

Additionally, the venue for lunch and wine was superb. We actually bought a case to be shipped to the USA!

Our one complaint - no time to shop in the beautiful town of Montepulciano (perhaps extend the stay here and cut out the stop at the old church/castle that's only for pictures?). Instead, we were forced to visit a souvenir shop on the way leaving Rome and again on the way returning to Rome. We understand this was necessary for a bathroom break, but perhaps a different place can be visited for the sake of variety - a minor detail.

Nonetheless, it was a great experience. Thanks for everything Emiliano. Ciao!

Ana was the best part of this trip! She was so kind, polite and so knowledgeable about everything and anything to do with Italy. She made the bus ride enjoyable with her stories and facts about all the towns we visited. She is probably one of the best tour guides out there and she’s the only reason I would recommend this trip.

Unfortunately, the vineyard wasn’t the best part of the tour. The food was terrible. The pours were very stingy. We also expected the guides at the vineyard to have a more structured visit.

Nonetheless Tuscany is beautiful and the Ana was terrific guide!

One of the Best Tours we went on and our tour guide Claudia made it extra special. She was wonderful from start to finish, and even though the weather was rainy, she juggled our itinerary around so we could still have a very enjoyable time! We stopped off at a quaint little town to see the views and check out the local shops. Then we saw an old church and villa, with a nice break at a cafe/store in between. But the best part of our tour was going to the family owned farm/winery where two elderly Italian women hosted us for a wonderful 3 course meal with wine tasting. Everything tasted exceptional and loved hearing their stories of family recipes. We never felt rushed and it was a very pleasant day all around. Would highly recommend taking tg3 time for this tour!

So glad we added this excursion to our Rome trip! Our tour guide Emiliano was knowledgeable and provided clarity on the day's itinerary. Our tour of Montepulciano was beautiful and our on site tour guide was passionate and provided information on the town's history. The lunch was amazing! The food and wine were delicious and the restaurant owners were gracious and accommodating. Highly recommend this tour.
