Overview

This accessible tour makes it easy for the whole family to discover Rome’s most popular attractions. Your guide (a specialist in early childhood education) will tailor the tour to kids, with activities and other games specially designed to keep young ones entertained. See the Roman Forum and then—with special, skip-the-line access—beat the long wait times and step right into the Colosseum.

What to Expect

This tour begins at a centrally located meeting point near Trajan’s Column, right on the edge of the Roman Forum. Meet your guide and set off on an accessible tour of Trajan’s Market and the Roman Forum. Your guide is a specialist in early childhood education, and has prepared a number of challenges, activities, and fun stories that are designed to engage kids and adults alike. Optional audio headsets are also available for larger groups, so you don’t miss any of your guide’s stories.

After your stroll through the Roman Forum, you’ll continue onwards to the Colosseum. This Roman icon always has long entry lines; skip-the-line access, however, means you’ll beat the crowds and head straight inside.

Once inside the Colosseum, admire the sights and listen to your guide’s stories and fun facts about the gladiators, emperors, and wild animals that once frequented the landmark. Additional interactive experiences will help bring the history alive for younger visitors.

The tour concludes just in front of the Colosseum.

Highly recommended

We had the tour with Selene Pacelli on June and it was well worth the price! Selene was very knowledgeable in architecture and had an adorable personality. We had a great time in this tour !

Rome sights

Great tour and our guide, Rosario, was excellent. Was very well spoken, knowledgeable, and good insight about the history. She did a great job and made time for questions. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Underground colosseum tour big disappointment

This was mainly a problem with guide and disorganisation, lack of communication. Stood around for 15-20 minutes in staging area in hot sun while guide Ursus struggled to get everyone’s radio receiver working. once we got moving, his explanations were frequently interspersed with awkward laughing...More
