Overview
Life is far too short to eat mediocre food, especially when you’re in Italy. Experience the authentic side of Sorrento’s culinary scene on this food and walking tour—a relaxed way for foodies and first-time visitors to get acquainted with the city. Receive personalized attention from your guide and move between venues easily in a small group limited to 10. Plus visit up to eight family-run eateries favored by locals.
What to Expect

Your tour begins at a central Sorrento location. Greet your guide, and receive an introduction to the city’s culinary scene. Over the course of the tour, stop at eight family-run food joints to sample a range of local specialties.

Feast first on sfogliatelle (shell-shaped pasta) before sampling a hot-pressed sandwich, pali’e riso (rice ball), and creamy buffalo mozzarella accompanied by cured meat.

Continue to pleasure your palate with craft beer and pasta paired with wine at a trattoria, and finish your feast with two samples of Italian ice cream at a local gelateria.

Sorrento is probably closer to Atrani, so I would say that’s your best time. Also, there is a great, authentic inlaid wood shop in Sorrento on Corso Italia called La Botteguccia. It is highly recommended!

Hi! We booked through Trip Advisor for the first tour, then emailed Tamara about the 2nd tour. By the way, it was as good as the first one and highly recommended! Enjoy!
