Overview
Travel from Madrid to Toledo, a national monument to Spain's art and history, and discover a treasure trove of El Greco artworks. Experience Toledo’s past on a guided walk along cobblestone alleyways, and explore this World Heritage-listed city’s medieval architecture and fortified city walls. As Toledo is on Madrid’s doorstep, you can easily take a Toledo tour in the morning or afternoon or explore in-depth on a Toledo full-day trip.
Highlights
  • Customizable tour of Toledo from Madrid
  • Choose between three tour options in the morning, afternoon, or all day
  • Avoid ticket lines, leaving more time to explore Toledo’s signature sites
  • Get maximum context with a guide
  • Upgrade to include lunch and sightseeing tour of Madrid
What to Expect
Your tour begins in central Madrid, where you’ll board an air-conditioned coach. In Toledo, see the church of Santo Tomé, home to El Greco’s famous painting The Burial of Count Orgaz, explore the Museo del Greco, and enter Santa Maria la Blanca Synagogue. The morning tour visits Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes or the Convent of Santo Domingo El Antiguo (depending on the month), while the afternoon tour takes you to the Mosque of Christ of the Light (Mezquita del Cristo De La Luz). The full-day tour adds a trip to the UNESCO-listed Cathedral of Toledo, a 13th-century landmark considered one of Spain’s finest examples of Gothic architecture.
