We were very fortunate to have “Ambassador” Coca-Cola as our guide for an all-inclusive tour package. He seemed to know everyone and had broad knowledge of Moroccan history and culture. He was very attuned to our needs and what we were most interested in seeing. He knew the best places to stage and take memorable photos. We learned about craftsmanship behind gorgeous berber carpets, jewelry and oils at several shops that we visited in the Medina (old city markets).
If you have limited time to visit Tangier, being guided by the engaging, knowledgeable and humorous Coca-Cola - by car and on foot - is a great way to see the highlights around the city and not get lost in the maze of streets in the Medina. The included camel ride on the beach and scrumptious meals were also highlights.
Ali provided very clear instructions for all phases of the tour, including ferry tickets. He also coordinated with Aissam Tours, the transportation company, for our pickup near Gibralter passport control (Spanish side) for travel to the ferry embarkation point of Tarifa and pickup at Tarifa for the return to the initial departure point.

We left from Tarifa Spain. Mohamed has all the arrangements worked out from pickup point in Spain to the return. He checks in with you prior to the trip and ensures you know the instructions. Upon arriving at Tangier ferry terminal, as he said to us, you just need to tell the attendants you are looking for him and they will point him out. But as the picture indicates, he is tall and he's pretty easy to find. A nice thing about the trip is there is a driver in addition to him. This enables him to engage with you from point to point and also be picked up and dropped off very easily. He is very informative and engaging and tells you a lot about the history and culture. He is very personable and has good sense of humor. All of the points that we visited were excellent. Both restaurants served very good food, which he allows you to decide, or he can decide for you. The other thing I noticed is that he really does look out for you as his client. He certainly has excellent relationships with all of the guides and vendors at points of interest and shops which is important, but at the same time if thee was something he felt he needed to advise you, he didn't have a problem stepping in or saying something to you on the side.
We've done other tours, but Mohamed's presentation style and the overall quality of the tour was far superior. We had an excellent time and would do it again.

We moved to Gibrilatar a long time ago and we always were planning to go to Morocco. This time we decided to make it special as it was our 30th anniversary so we checked for best options online. And we found Ali Tangier Tours amog the best rated companies. We called the company and the owner Ali picked up the phone. He had this friendly voice and spoke fluent English so we immediately decided to book with him. We requested the best option and many things included and him to be with us during the tour. Ali organized everything for us, pick up from our accommodation in Gibriltar, ferry tickets and very comfortable transportation. Tangier is so captivating in both history and beauty and has astonishing places to offer both at Atlantic Ocean side and Mediterranean. Ali is very knowledgeable, he loves his city and is very proud about his country. It was very interesting to listen about historic facts, cultural aspects and simple daily things. We learned a lot about religion, traditional costumes and interantional influences. Old city is charming and fun, loads of small narrow streets, felt like in labyrinth and beautiful markets, and entertainment. Ali prepared couple of suprises for us from cake with candle to traditional band playing and singing local folklore. Food was one of the best parts, so deliciouse and so many things. This was amazing trip, we could not wish for better outcome. Many thanks to Ali and his team and, strongly recommended.

We went to Gib to get married, so thought of this All Inclusive trip as a wee honeymoon.
We were met on the Spanish side of Gibraltar passport control by our driver(taxi) and taken to the port of Tarifa (about 45 mins).
Once there, we waited for the ferry across to Tangiers. Ali had already sent us our tickets on whatsapp so we just breezed through and onto the ferry. Took about an hour to cross.
Once on board, you go through Moroccan passport/police control to get your entry stamps. DO NOT forget to fill out the declaration form for entry!!! If you don't have one, a member of the crew will provide it. Then sit back and enjoy the ride. There is a small outer deck, if like me, you want a tab so fear not fellow smoker.
At Tangiers, we were met by our guide Hamza. He had our name on a board. He took us to our private mini bus and the tour started in earnest.
Hamza is a great lad and his knowedge of Tangiers is fantastic. We felt we had hit it lucky. In short, we went to the old town, one of the oldest Mosques, new town, 'Califofnia', a beautiful park in the hills, had a camel ride along the beach, one of the lighthouses (where we had awesome crepes) and Hercules caves.
Our driver Amah'd then took us up to the Medina, the highest point in Tangiers, where the walking part of the tour started. This was so interesting, Hamza showing us all the nooks and crannies, (the list is too huge to mention) but including the Berbar carpet place and the Bio Spice/Oil shop, as we worked our way down the hill towards the port.
Believe me when i say Hamza knows EVERYBODY in the Old Town, having grown up there.
We stopped mid way down at the lovely Restaurant Vandalucia where we sampled a 3 course authentic meal.
Then at the foot of The Continental Hotel, back in the van for the short hop back to the port, and the reverse trip, which went just as smoothly. A bonus being seeing a small pod of Dolphins swimming in the ferry's wake.
All in all, an absolutely fantastic day and i can't recommend these guys enough.
If you are wanting a hassle free, smoothly run trip to see the highlights of Tangiers, look no further than these guys.

Ali is just the best! This tour is worth every cent it costs…and more! Ali is exceptionally knowledgeable about Tangier and really cares about his customers…I should say family. If there were 5 stars, I’d give him 6.

We booked a private tour with Ali, and I'm so glad we did! We felt very safe and enjoyed our time in Morocco. Ali was super friendly and always quick to answer questions or provide insight. He allowed us to customize our tour to fit exactly what we wanted to do and see!
