If you dont mind heights or you hate walking or paying for a dodgy Spanish taxi this is the way to get to the top of the rock. It is £15 but thats a return trip. There is a cracking little cafe and souvenir shop...More
Arrive at the departure point on the Grand Parade. Enter the cable car station and board your gondola, riding to the top of the Rock in just a few minutes. Gaze at the stunning vistas as you ascend, before alighting at the summit, 1,352 feet (412 meters) above sea level. Enjoy incredible views of Gibraltar, Spain, and Morocco, looking out for significant landmarks, such as the Trinity House Lighthouse.
Relax with a snack or drink, available for purchase at the Top of the Rock Cafe, and meet the famous Barbary macaques who live at the peak. It is recommended not to touch or feed these wild animals, and keep a hold of your personal belongings, as their inquisitive nature can cause mischief. When ready, board a descending cable car and head back to ground level, leaving with unforgettable memories and unique snaps of your experience.
