Overview
Zip around Barcelona’s sights by bike—an energizing alternative to pounding the sidewalks or traveling by enclosed bus. This half-day bike tour uses easy-to-ride bikes, follows routes that avoid traffic, and features a local guide for the full lowdown on the sights and city’s culture. The gentle pace, a beach rest break, and child seats on request make it ideal for families and all fitness levels.
What to Expect
Greet your guide and group in central Barcelona at your selected time and collect your easy-to-ride bike. Receive your cycling gear—helmets, child seats, and rain ponchos for wet weather are supplied—and get a safety briefing before setting off.

Learn about Barcelona’s history on the route, and absorb the fresh air and city buzz as you cruise along bike paths, lanes, and quieter streets to sights such as La Sagrada Familia, Placa Sant Jaume, the Arc de Triomf, and Barcelona Cathedral.

Enjoy the relaxed pace and short distances between the sights, and stop at key attractions to take photographs and hear their history from your guide.

About midway, pull up at one of Barcelona’s beaches for a rest break on the sands. Chat to your group, sunbathe, or swim in the sea (remember to bring your swimsuit).

Your Barcelona bike tour finishes in central Barcelona.

Stop reading! Just book this now! This was the best thing to do as soon as you settle in to your hotel room/AirBnB/cupboard! This company was great! Awesome guide and very informative. A small public service announcement: You will end up in some tourist traps...More

We stayed at Hotel St Augustin which was not far from the Square. But the guide makes sure everyone is through lights or traffic before continuing, and the overall pace is not fast. The tour has young and old, so everyone... More

We met there as well. If you are facing City Hall, the Fat Tire Tour is on the left. There are several other bike tours which meet there as well, but on the opposite side of the Hall
