Visit landmarks such as Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, and the Berlin Wall, and discover more about the German capital’s history than you would if you were exploring independently. Plus, learn about the Nazi Third Reich, the Cold War, and the Teutonic Knights as you visit fascinating locations that many other tours skip.

What to Expect

Choose to begin your walking tour in East Berlin (meet your guide at the Hackescher Markt train station) or in West Berlin (meet at the Zoologischer Garten train station). If you choose to start your tour in West Berlin, please bring a valid train ticket.

Americans Love History

Our guide, Maria, was fabulous. She knows Berlin history and her acting background made the tour funny, sad and informative. Would definitely recommend! In fact, we’re booked on the Dresden tour because of having such a good experience.

A great first day in Berlin

What a great way to start our holiday! Barnaby was an extremely knowledgeable, informative and amusing guide. The length of the tour was just right - we learned lots and never got bored ( a little cold maybe!) Good value for money. We highly recommend.

Fantastic despite cold and rainy day

Barnaby is an amazing guide, clearly very knowledgable and passionate about history. Also very funny but serious at the same time. Made the 4h fly, even with rain and cold. I really enjoyed it.

Thanks. We were told by our client that the company is Insider Tour, so we have the right one, just need to find out if he is available on those dates.
