Last-Entry Louvre Museum Tour to See 'Mona Lisa'

Select Date and Travellers
2 travellers
The best way to see the Mona Lisa is without the crowds that almost always surround her. Because there is no way to get her all to yourself, we’ve done the next best thing: As the museum starts to close and everyone else rushes for the doors, we take advantage of the natural thinning of crowds. Entering at this time, you’ll find the room almost totally empty so you can get up close to the great lady for a peaceful 20 minute visit with your guide. Of course you’ll see the best of the rest too. You’ll spend 3 hours viewing the very best artwork in the Louvre with an art historian, learning what makes these masterpieces so world-renowned.

  • Skip the queue at the Louvre and see the Mona Lisa without crowds
  • Admire artworks such as Venus de Milo and Michelangelo’s Rebellious Slave
  • Hear the stories behind world-famous paintings and sculptures
  • Small group limited to 15 people ensures personal attention from your guide
What to Expect
Meet your guide near the entrance to the Louvre Museum at the designated time, then use your skip-the-line ticket to beat the queues and head inside to begin your tour. Your visit is timed to take in key artworks throughout the Louvre, finishing at the Mona Lisa when the crowds have gone. Explore the hallways and galleries, and admire famous artworks such as Venus de Milo, Psyche Revived by Cupid's Kiss, and Michelangelo’s Rebellious Slave. Gaze over works by skilled artists like da Vinci, Delacroix, and Raphael, and listen as your guide sheds light on thousands of years of art. As the crowds disperse before the museum closes, reach the Mona Lisa and enjoy time to admire the work in peace. Afterward, step outside to conclude your Louvre Museum tour.

Hugo led our group through 3 hours of key highlights (not a small feat considering the vastness of the museum). He was masterful in delivering information, humor, context, and humor - a great formula for keeping us engaged for so long. His goal was to...More

Loved the tour. Saw Mona Lisa first after a 35 minute wait which they said could be 2 hrs. Saw highlights & ended tour looking at recently unearthed remains of the original castle.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our guide (whose name I have unfortunately forgotten) was very passionate and informative. She made the tour more than just about the Mona Lisa. It was a fabulous recount of the history of the Louvre Museum itself...More

We booked this tour because of the small group size- up to 15 people. When we arrived, the young man checking everyone in informed us there would be3-4 extra people. More and more people kept arriving and by the time the tour left there was...More

At the end of the tour Adam asked everyone what their favorite pieces were and I didn’t have an answer because I loved everything he talked about because of how he explained it! Give me pop culture references, Jungle Cruise-esque jokes, science, so much history,...More

I believe the museum closes at 9:45pm or 10pm. Our tour started at 645pm and we ended the 3 hour at the Mona Lisa - about 9:20pm. Hope this helps!
