Small-Group Normandy D-Day Beaches Day Trip with Omaha Beach, American Cemetery and Cider Tasting
From US$247.41

Exploring Normandy’s World War II’s D-Day sites from Paris in just one day isn’t easy on your own. This tour pulls everything together: with minivan transport, visits to Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery, plus in-depth analysis using period military maps and plans. Other benefits include skip-the-lines entrance tickets, small group size, and a Normandy apple cider tasting.

What to Expect

Your tour begins in central Paris, where you board an air-conditioned minivan destined for Normandy.

As you travel, your guide tells of the bravery and strategies behind the WWII D-Day landings. Hear soldiers’ personal stories, and learn how the Allied June 1944 campaign changed the course of the war. Your guide will use military maps and photos to provide a detailed picture of the operation, and show the difference between what was planned and what happened.

Visit the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial before continuing to the Overlord Museum to view its exhibitions on the planning and execution of the landings.

Next, head for Omaha Beach, where US and British troops landed, and then visit one of the defensive German bunkers to discover how the Allies managed to neutralize them.

After a tasting of Normandy apple cider, your tour concludes at the departure point in Paris.
