What to Expect
Meet your group and guide in central Bordeaux and travel by air-conditioned coach to explore the wine regions of Medoc, St-Emilion, or Sauternes (depending on the day). Along the way, listen as your guide explains the history of French winemaking and the wines that put Bordeaux on the map. Hear about different grapes, the importance of “terroir,” and the seemingly complex classification system that includes grand cru, premier cru, and AOC. During the tour, stop at two different wineries or wine chateaux, where you have the chance to stroll the vineyards and explore the underground wine cellars. At each winery, enjoy a guided wine tasting and sample a selection of red, white, or rosé wines. Based on your preferences, your guide can help recommend other varietals you might enjoy. Your tour ends back in central Bordeaux.

It was a really pleasant trip to two vineyards where you learn about wine making and at the same time see the French countryside. Definite value for the money.

Excellent visit, guide Christina very knowledgeable.love the mix between French and English commentary. Two caves were excellent. Loved the details given by meeting the owner of the first. Highly recommend for people who just want to experience tasting on small scale.
