Free guided walk through the streets of Manchester city centre. Guide prepared and tour duration about 2h well managed between historical explanations and anecdotes of the city. I recommend it to those who want to make a short visit to discover the streets and main buildings of the city. No paid admission to museums and no mandatory passage for souvenir purchases. Professional. Bravo Gareth

This was such a brilliant way to spend the afternoon! Gareth our guide was very knowledgeable and gave just the right amount of information, history and humour. My friends and I are from Manchester and we learned lots. There was a lot going on in the City and the guide had a lot of background noise to compete with but he was really clearly spoken and easy to understand . We would highly recommend to visitors and locals alike!

We did the general Manchester visit with Ivo on August 11, 2023 and we can only recommend it: enjoyable, interesting, with a lot of very varied information and very much the spirit of the city. Ivo answered all the questions in detail and with a lot of humor.
If we have to put a but, it is that the group was very large, but we attendees had radio stations that could be heard perfectly, to be honest, and the journeys were also enlivened with music very similar to Manchester and the visit. Highly highly recommended

A wonderful tour full of the authentic history of the city. The guide, Ivo, is a very attentive and careful person with all the details of the tour that clearly have been prepared with a lot of love. The entire tour has been interactive and we have learned more about the city than with any other tour. I highly recommend doing it, he is a wonderful person and you learn and have a lot of fun.
PS: his dog Sausage has accompanied us the entire journey and has been a great attraction.

Gareth was really knowledgeable and passionate about the city of Manchester. The tour was factual, relevant and interesting. Gareth’s affable nature encouraged the group to interact and ask questions. I studied at Manchester University from 92-96 but Gareth provided a fresh perspective and explained many of the new exciting additions to the city since I left. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable 2 and a half hours - I highly recommend this tour for anyone with an afternoon to spare in this burgeoning city.

We had a wonderful tour with Gareth. He really knew "his stuff" and it was clear he loved his city. We fell in love with it too.
Gareth's commentary was delivered in a quiet, impressive manner, liberally dosed with humour. We were very impressed and the almost three hours went quickly.
We would thoroughly recommend this tour.

My husband travels on a battery operated mobility scooter, are there many steps involved. Not a problem climbing stairs but just walking distances

Hi, he should be fine. If it heads towards the canal from standing nor the Bridgewater Hall he could make a slight detour to avoid the steps.
