Overview
See the beauty of the Irish countryside without traveling far from Dublin on this small-group walking tour. After taking the train from Dublin city center north to Howth, follow your guide to the historic fishing village’s lighthouse, Martello Tower, and Howth Castle. The tour continues with a walk along the sea cliff and a stop at the boyhood home of Irish poet W. B. Yeats.
What to Expect
Meet your group at Barnardo Square, after which you take a short train ride to Howth, a historic fishing village north of Dublin.
In Howth, explore the village including its lighthouse, Martello Tower, and Howth Castle (home to a megalithic tomb). The tour continues with a walk along the sea cliff, where guillemots and seals are often spotted.
After taking in the dramatic scenery, visit the boyhood home of Irish poet W. B. Yeats. This seaside village is known for its fresh seafood and traditional pubs.
The tour includes round-trip train tickets, but you can remain in Howth to explore independently after the walking tour finishes.

They RSVP ahead of time so they know how many people are coming and which groups to divide them into. I don't think the tour guides can handle money.

Yes. You prepay the tour ( I paid by credit card) and tip the guide in cash. If it is Stephen, he is worth it.
