Overview
Explore Ireland's west coast highlights on a coach and rail day trip from Dublin to the wild Cliffs of Moher, the Burren and picturesque Galway Bay.
Highlights
  • Seamless, round-trip train and coach transport from Dublin
  • Follow a local guide on an in-depth cultural tour of ancient Limerick
  • Guaranteed entry at Bunratty Castle, Ireland’s most complete medieval castle
  • Coaches take you to the UNESCO-listed Cliffs of Moher and the Burren
What to Expect
Your morning begins at Dublin Heuston Station, where you board a train to Limerick. Order breakfast (own expense) and enjoy the passing lush, green countryside views. On arrival in Limerick, a local guide leads a walking tour of the ancient city. Learn tidbits about its rich past, Viking heritage, and literary reputation. Next, board a northbound coach to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. Discover Ireland’s most complete medieval castle, including historic tapestries and artworks, and then see Folk Park, which offers a glimpse of 20th-century Irish village life. It isn’t a trip to Ireland without a traditional pub lunch. Wash down classic dishes with a Guinness or cup of tea at Gus O’Connor’s Pub in Doolin (own expense). The coach then transports you to the rugged Cliffs of Moher. Your journey continues past scenic coastline of the Burren and Galway Bay. Stroll through Galway before boarding a train to Dublin, where dinner awaits (own expense).

We had an awesome experience, our tour guide Jonathon Beaumont was charming, engaging, informative and tried to talk to everyone on the tour. I would highly recommend this tour service.
