Ring of Kerry Full-Day Guided Tour from Cork

Select Date and Travellers
2 travellers
Like all the best journeys in life, Paddywagon Tours started in 1998 with the simple thought, “it’s time for something different”.

The Ring of Kerry is considered one of the finest drives in the world. From rugged cliffs to golden beaches, small villages and pastures green to peat bogs and picturesque mountain ranges. This peninsula illustrates all that is beautiful, wonderful and wild in our beloved motherland.

The variety of attractions makes this one of the most diverse and interesting day tours that one is likely to experience in their travel adventures. From ancient stone forts to landscapes carved out of rock by the Ice Age, from sparkling lakes to winding mountain passes our day trip shall be a highlight and shall ensure lasting memories of the beautiful Kingdom of Kerry.
  • Learn about the Ring of Kerry through insightful guided commentary
  • Leave the driving to the experts as you focus on the scenery
  • Multiple stops throughout the day give a comprehensive picture of the region
  • Convenient pickup and drop-off in Cork
What to Expect
Catch your coach in Cork, where you can settle in to a comfortable seat and enjoy the views on the ride to Killarney: the day's first stop. Have a look around the town before proceeding to Killorglin, home to the ancient Puck Fair, a Celtic festival dating to 1613.  Proceed along the Ring of Kerry to the Dingle Peninsula, where you'll stop at Inch Beach, Dingle Bay, and other spots to get views of the Skellig Islands. Next up is Waterville, perched on Ballinskelligs Bay and home to one of Ireland's most famous golf clubs. Drive through the colorful village of Sneem, where the River Sneem meets Kenmare Bay, and then on to Killarney National Park, one of the first in Ireland. Make a stop at the tumbling Torc Waterfall and maybe see some of the local red deer before heading back to Cork.  With all the driving on narrow roads, you'll be glad you booked a tour including transportation instead of going it on your own.

I absolutely loved the tour, they were on time, the driver was very knowledgeable and funny. The weather was crazy with clear sky to start the day then drizzle, rain, fog and sun and back to rain again to come back with a clear sky...More

Jamie was an awesome driver who did a great job making it a great day trip when the weather was less than cooperative. The young woman at the desk when we checked in was less than thrilled with her job and perhaps should seek employment...More

Overall I would say you get what you pay for. The bus was older with dirty windows, lots of rattles and a “broken Spedo sensor” that constantly beeped the entire day. The stops were good with enough time at each stop. I did not like...More

We booked off a Cruise ship so they had space reserved for this tour and others. It would be better to book in advance but you likely would still be able to get on a tour just prior to your arrival.
