Isle of Skye Full Day 8-Seater Bus Tour from Inverness
From US$107.99
Overview
The Isle of Skye is widely considered the jewel in Scotland’s crown, but its isolated location makes visiting a challenge. On this full-day tour from Inverness, travel by air-conditioned bus through the Scottish Highlands to remote attractions including Eilean Donan Castle and the harbor village of Portree. Explore on foot during your free time, and enjoy personal attention from your guide on this small-group tour—limited to eight people.
What to Expect
Meet your guide in central Inverness, board your air-conditioned bus, and head into the Scottish Highlands to begin your full-day tour. Pass top attractions including Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle while your guide sheds light on Scotland’s colorful history.

Explore the Five Sisters of Kintail and 13th-century Eilean Donan Castle, then cross the sea to the remote, beautiful Isle of Skye.

Drive through the Cuillin range and admire sweeping views over the rugged countryside. After a seafood lunch (own expense) in Portree, explore the town and learn about the volcanic activity that formed the region’s rocky features including the Old Man of Storr and the Quiraing. At Kilt Rock, gaze across to the Torridon hills and admire the mighty rock pillars and waterfalls for which the area is known.

Enjoy free time in the pretty village of Kyle of Lochalsh before returning in comfort to Inverness, where your tour ends.
