Overview

For a deathly creepy ghost tour, you need a great guide. Join your terrifying conductor aboard a vintage Routemaster double-decker bus for an Edinburgh ghost tour with a difference. As you travel past eerie sights like Grassmarket, the Royal Mile, Greyfriars Kirk, and Edinburgh Castle, thrill to gory anecdotes from the city’s chilling past.

What to Expect

As night falls, board the bus in central Edinburgh and pick a seat. As you ride through the streets, let your conductor transport you to the city’s dark side. Hear tales of murder, slaughter, torture, and ghosts; shiver at the story of Burke and Hare, gravediggers who turned serial killers to feed medical schools’ desire for fresh corpses; tremble at the memories of the witch hunts in the 16th and 17th centuries.

Learn a different, darker side of this historic city as you pass haunted sites like Greyfriars Kirk, Grassmarket, Edinburgh Castle, and the Palace of Holyroodhouse. You’ll finish in Edinburgh Old Town with plenty of time for a warming whisky at a local pub.

Brilliant experience

The guide definitely made this a fantastic and hilarious experience. Can't remember the last time I laughed so much. He also gave some fascinating facts and insight into Edinburgh's history. Would highly recommend as long as you get the same guide that we did
