For a deathly creepy ghost tour, you need a great guide. Join your terrifying conductor aboard a vintage Routemaster double-decker bus for an Edinburgh ghost tour with a difference. As you travel past eerie sights like Grassmarket, the Royal Mile, Greyfriars Kirk, and Edinburgh Castle, thrill to gory anecdotes from the city’s chilling past.

What to Expect

As night falls, board the bus in central Edinburgh and pick a seat. As you ride through the streets, let your conductor transport you to the city’s dark side. Hear tales of murder, slaughter, torture, and ghosts; shiver at the story of Burke and Hare, gravediggers who turned serial killers to feed medical schools’ desire for fresh corpses; tremble at the memories of the witch hunts in the 16th and 17th centuries.

Learn a different, darker side of this historic city as you pass haunted sites like Greyfriars Kirk, Grassmarket, Edinburgh Castle, and the Palace of Holyroodhouse. You’ll finish in Edinburgh Old Town with plenty of time for a warming whisky at a local pub.

Such a laugh!!

Loved this, was definitely fun and was full of entertainment. Some educational parts I. It but was more of a laugh rather than an educational ghost tour!

Cuthbert is the best

Very tongue in cheek excursion by bus to experience the paranormal. Stopped in a graveyard for a few minutes on route around the city. Cuthbert was so entertaining. I’ve not laughed so much in a while. Fabulous entertainer. Don’t expect many encounters with ghosties tho

Scared the life out of me

I went with my sister and mum on this tour. There were couple of times where i thought i would jump out of my skin. The narrator was very very funny.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👻👻👻👻👻 Saw many parts of the town.

Would not rush back

Very amateurish production that could be greatly improved on by using props and a much better TV screen. Apparently the week before the tour was cancelled due to communication failures.

Good Fun

Bit cheesy but good fun. Wee bit of Edinburgh history along the way. Was pretty expensive for what it was.

It takes about an hour, and you do get off and on and it stops a couple of times (to create ‘atmosphere’ 😆)
