I'd heard about this place so often and when I finally got there was absolutely amazed at the stonework outside but particularly inside the building. Definitely worth a visit.

Thanks Andrew!
Dec 2019 • Couples
Our guide Andrew was excellent and very knowledgeable. His story telling was top notch and doesn't have a heavy accent which is very good for tourists! I would recommend this tour to anyone who are keen to know the history of the sites and Scotland in general. Andrew was fantastic and was able to answer all of our questions. - Ian and Tin

Wonderful Tour
Oct 2019
My husband and I went on this tour on 10/2/2019 and really enjoyed it. Our tour guide, John, and the driver, Jason, put on an excellent tour. John was very knowledgeable about what we were seeing and the history behind it all. The small group 16-person bus was the perfect way to explore these locations. Loved that John was in a kilt and played the bagpipes for us. Would highly recommend this tour.

Steven B's tour
Sep 2019
Steven B's tour of Rosslyn Chapel, Dunfermline Abey and Stirling Casle was very enjoyable. He gave a great history of Edinburg, early Scotland and Robert the Bruce, he made the trip very enjoyable. The only think I would change would be for not stop at the bridges to allow more time in Rosslyn Chapel. Steven B is a great tour guide and I would totally recommend him!

Awesome Experience!
Sep 2019
This was a 16-passenger bus tour, which was just the right size to get a more personalized experience. We took this tour in late September and the weather was great and the views along the tour were spectacular! James was our driver, and he was great for balancing information with humor. Rosslyn Chapel was our favorite on this journey. Whether you are Divinci Code fan, or not, the history, stories, and intrigue of Rosslyn Chapel are amazing. We had plenty of time to walk around the grounds of Rosslyn Chapel, take plenty of pictures, including a walk down past the cemetery to the Rosslyn Castle at the bottom of the hill. Our stop at the Abbey was limited by our extended lunch, but we enjoyed a walk around the Abbey and take in its impressive history. We also enjoyed a distillery at the end of the tour to top off our day. We left Dublin around 9am and were back in Dublin by 6pm...a long, but enjoyable day. Note that this tour still requires you to buy tickets at each of the stops for entry into the sites, but still worth the tour price.

Historical Scottish highlights well worth the visit!
Sep 2019
Greg was fantastic as our very informative and knowledgeable guide/driver! The tour highlights were AMAZING!! I’m thrilled I chose HET’s Rosslyn Chapel tour over the other companies’ because the Dunfermline’s ruins were extra-special, and HET gave us a great amount of time needed for Stirling Castle! That Castle is massive and needs every bit of that time to see most of what the castle and grounds have to offer and not feel horribly rushed like many other tours’s site stops do! This tour was reasonably priced for a good long day, and in a mini bus instead of a jam packed big bus. We would definitely take another HET tour again!

Nice, but overpriced
Sep 2019 • Couples
Is it nice... Very. Is it worth the ride there to pay 9 pounds and not be able to even take photos, no. I understand it's privately owned, but I felt taken advantage of. Glad we went, won't go back.
