I've learnt everything about Titanic here. From the history to the sinking tragedy. It also offers 3D walk up and down the ship and audio devices to complete your tour. Such a great place in Belfast.

We visited during the Covid-19 outbreak and managed to see this on the day it closed. It is without any shadow of doubt one of the best museums we have ever visited. It starts with the linen trade years and follows through to ship building. It is technically advanced and uses

I usually pass through museums faster than the estimated time. Not here. This was a facsinating insight not just into Titanic, but to the Belfast community at the time of its building and I guess I was in there close to 3 hours. Very well presented story of one of the most

Wanted to come here for years. It turned out to be a big tourist trap. The building is new and gorgeous, but it's all style and no substance. Very few actual artifacts. Most of the information is available online, and many of the exhibits are geared towards kids. We drove to

Response from TitanicBelfastTeam, Visitor Experience Team Leader at Titanic Belfast Entrance Ticket: Titanic Visitor Experience Including SS Nomadic
Responded 2 weeks ago
Thanks for taking the time to get in contact and I’m sorry to hear that your visit fell below expectations. The galleries are designed in such a way as to take the visitor on a chronological journey from Titanic's inception and design right through to where she lies today. Rather than trying to gloss over the fact that the ship sank, we are hoping to highlight that this story is more than one of failure, but one of incredible historic significance in the history of Belfast and the future of the shipping industry. The desire was to handle the sinking with as much compassion as possible and I do apologise if you felt that not enough emphasis was put on this part of the story. The galleries are designed in such a way as to take the visitor on a chronological journey from Titanic's inception and design right through to where she lies today. We aim to highlight that this story is more than one of Titanic's ill-fated end, but one of incredible historic significance in the history of Belfast and the future of the shipping industry. The desire was to handle Titanic's history within a wider context and I do apologise if you felt that not enough emphasis was put on this part of the story. We are fortunate enough receive visitors from all over the world, and closer to home, who have personal, family connections to the Titanic, those who built her and those who sailed on her, not all of which have happy endings unfortunately. For this reason, we took great care to ensure that the subject matter was dealt with in a sensitive manner rather than a dramatic re-telling of Titanic's sinking. Thanks again for the review - it really does make a difference and I'll be sure to add your comments to our next review.
