Worth the money

We bought the 3 day pass, which you can use on 3 days over 6.You do not have to use it on 3 consecutive days which was good. We visited a lot of the attractions York Minster, castle museum,yorvic centre,dungeons,York museum,chocolate museum and many more.

York in a nutshell

I used the Hop-on Hop-off tour to familiarize myself with all the available attractions and their locations, and then explored on foot. The information provided on the tour was very informative and valuable. I can recommend this to any first-time visitor

Early closing of attractions must be emphasised

This is good value if you start early morning. We purchased ours at 11.00 and soon realised nearly all attractions shut their doors at 17.00. Boat tours finish circa 15.00. Plan ahead, and a tip for the tourist office is to make the limited times...More

Very good value

Bought 3 day pass on line and planned what we'd like to do. Did them all and still didn't feel it was too much. First day bus and river trip, Yorvik, the minster and chocolate story. Second Eden Camp and Castle Howard. Third Pickering to...More
