Overview

Discover natural landscapes rarely seen by visitors on a helicopter tour over the mountains of Whistler. Choose from a range of departure times to fit your schedule, as well as two tour options: a 12-minute tour over Whistler, or a 39-minute tour of BC. As you fly over meadows and lakes inaccessible to the public, your pilot provides live commentary on the geology of the area.

What to Expect

Avoid navigating to the local heliport on your own with convenient a pick-up from Whistler Village. After greeting your pilot, listen to a safety briefing and board the helicopter. Your itinerary depends on which of the 2 tour options you select.

If you have selected the 12-minute Whistler Explorer, enjoy immediate views of Whistler and surrounding areas after take-off. As you soar thousands of feet in the air, take in the rare sight of meadows, waterfalls, and lakes unreachable by car or on foot.

On the 39-minute BC Experience, go above and beyond the Whistler area. After a scenic flight with unimpeded views of snow-capped mountains, disembark the helicopter at Rainbow Glacier, where your pilot provides an overview of the region’s 12,000-year-old geology.

On either tour, return to the heliport with bird’s-eye photos of British Columbia that very few visitors have the opportunity to take.
